Loved the video. Farmed in MN 42 years ago. Now disabled and moved to Sochi a couple years ago with the wife. We still have funds available and would love to help set up a collective of sorts with maybe 2, 3, 4, or more individuals/families working together. Solo farming works, but you're pretty much tied to it 24/7. I know from experience! This way families can get a break and take a vacation if they relax ocassionally. Trouble is, are there still any markets left or voids to fill a niche? I see the giant dairies, giant beef farms, etc and they seem to have most of the outlets sewn up with products or produce. Right now to grow grains seems to be a no win because of over production already with inadequate storage. I initially thought to build a nice sized agri-tourist farm, maybe several thousand hectares with a bit of everything (grains, fruits, veggies, meats, diary, eggs, ecetera right down to taking an adandoned village and fixing it up as a sort of airbnb for folks to visit on weekends or extended vacations. Personally, the south african farmer seemed like he's only interested in large scale grain cropping where they poison the lands with fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides. The land looked picturesque and beautiful... so thought I. Anyway, it's a dream and it'll probably just die in my head. Thanks again for sharing...
