how did we find the effective span of flanged beams, (T-beams)?
hi i want to clarify something. The lo is contraflexure length right? So wasnt it supposed to be 0.7l ? So lo = 0.7 (4000mm) ?
Simply supported no need to calculate 0.85 Lo or 0.7L0. If continuous, yes.
For adjacent beam, in a place where we have two adjacent beam how can we go for calculations?

Assalamulaikum Dr. Usually I used Colebrook-white equation for sewerage design for IWK. Is it any significant difference between Colebrook-white equation and Manning equation? Thank you
Nice 👍, we used spirit level as well to supplement the dial gage in Swansea Uni

GL start is where the sewerage line start and gl end is where the sewerage line end. GL diff is different between start and end level. Drop level is different between end level and start level at the point or grid.
