Installed the BlTouch probe on my Anycubic i3 Mega 3D Printer. I got stuck on the firmware modification part which took me 3 to 4 days to figure it out. Hope this helps. The clamp is circa late 70's early 80's. I could not find an exact duplicate so i decided to mig weld the broken clamp. I did a magnet test on the clamp and was surprised how magnetic the cast-iron clamp was. I used my Eastwood 135 Mig welder with 75/25 mix to weld the cracked thread.

Hopefully you replaced the accumulator/dryer as well. Always a good idea if you're placing the compressor.

what tool did you use to remove servo and avoid spring tension? also to hold it in place while installing new one. there's not much room under unless you remove the exhaust pipe, maybe the intermediate bracket holding the tranny?
That was horrible, you didn't fix anything
Missing a bunch of steps, from removing the wiring coupling to getting a troublesome stuck coil off of a spark plug, to alignment on insertion of new coil down a blind hole. Not greatly helpful.
Whenever doing this job never ever take the adjustment SCREWS off or the bands inside the transmission will in fall apart, then all that work putting the kit in would’ve been all for nothing. Read instructions or watch LOADS of videos before attempting to do this. 👍🏼 GOOD LUCK

Hey I’m wanting to put this new kit it in? I was having a flare on my 2-3 shift but a couple weeks ago I got slippage at 3k rpm in 3rd. I’m hoping my servo broke like yours and I’m getting no pressure to my intermediate bands. What was your symptoms prior to this.

None of the video had audio to tell viewers what you were doing and most of it the camera did not show what you were doing and what video that did show what you were doing your hands prevented us from actually seeing what you were doing.. Do over. Unacceptable.

I did that in the beginning,however the settings in the firmware weren't correct for my probe location and the firmware being a hex file i couldn't edit it.

Thanks, the sealant is made by Permatex and called red gasket maker Hi-temp. Auto parts stores usually have it.

You were able to take out the band bolt and re insert with no problem? I’ve heard of a piece that falls into the pan and would require the tranny to be pulled in order to put back… the square head snapped off…
I have heard of that as well, it's a possibility that happened.
Don’t have to take it all the way out I don’t think. Just back it off. But if you move it out too far there is probably a link that will fall into the pan. But the pans are not terrible to remove.

More work then I thought. The repair shop told me they could replace the inner coil in a 1/2 hr. I don't think so.
So this is a common fault with these shit french made 5 speed transmissions? I unfortunately have one in my 2010 FG XR6 ford falcon, ive heard nothing but bad feedback regarding these transmissions,i have installed an external air cooled oil cooler to cool the transmission down as they do run very hot and adds to the failure of these transmissions. I think i will be upgrading to the ZF 6speed when this one inevitably shits itself.
Half that s*** you could have made yourself what a waste of money. Pliers and snap ring can be modified with a grinder takes about 2 minutes

How I know if is the cervo or the solenoid pack? What Need remplace ?
I'm not sure, mine was leaking from the cover, that's how i knew which one on my transmission.
Just did this repair yesterday on my 2011 ranger (same transmission). So if your o/d light is flashing and you notice a hard or non-existent 2-3 shift and if you do not have have an OD shift then this is a good indicator. If you put your transmission manually into "2" and it will hold at 4000rpm then it's not your bands in the tranny and might not be the solenoid pack. Word of advise, if the cap does not come out easy, spray penetrating oil, remove the exhaust and tap on the cap with a hammer to free it from the housing. If you try to do the drilling method there's a chance you will break the cap
@@orunenf5533 5r55s 05 mustang o/d flashes and it catches in all all 1,2,3 gears when I shift manually, doesn't shift in d but engages in all gears. it drives but it feels weak, itslips holds 2k rpms on take off past 40 mph goes all the way to 4.5k rpm at 100 and hour could it be these servos? Again I have no shifting.
@@RobertYayo my 05 is literally doing the same thing where I put it into drive and it acts like it’s in neutral and just revs, I can put it into 3-2-1 and back into d and it’ll work…
@@TurboCarlos sounds like a shift solenoid, they are incharge of alot of things. Check the connector on the side make sure it looks good
looking to tune up a 2.5 2010 new beetle and saw that there are multiple filters with different connections listed as compatible parts online, but this is crazy! why are they selling this part if there's no practical way to install it?
Why did you cut it?
It was a shrink fit so after cutting the clamp is was the only way to removing the line. I went to the local VW dealer and asked the Lead tech how to remove the filter and he looked at me like i had 10 heads. So i was on my own. The way they must change it at the dealer is to replace the tank with the assembly already installed.?
@@CNC860 Im doing my 2010 VW Metal Tank both the filter and fuel pump... Fuel pump twists 45 Degrees and push off to the side and you can reach all 4 connections to remove the Fuel Pump or push it to the side to remove the filter clamp n ground. I took a photo of the connections and was waiting for you to correct the location of the main connections. 7 mill for the claim is the only tool needed after you remove cover. Super easy job... I bought the after market Filter and had to remove the GRN connector and install press it on the new one.
You didn’t use submersible fuel line?
No, i tried to get the actual line from the VW Dealer but they said it is no longer offered.? So,i was pretty much in a bind so i used the Napa fuel line to shrink fit and i put a hose clamp on as extra precaution. I wouldn't do this repair again. I would buy the fuel tank with the assembly installed already and go that route, expensive, yes. But a heck alot easier that going the way i did in the video. The fuel tank port opening isn't very big and it's a major pia to get your hands in and be able to get at the filter,etc.

I am in a similar scituation and just finished wiring up my Northern Phase Conver 30HP very similar to yours from my residential 240 volt single phase 200 amp service.May I ask what voltage you are running your Phase Converter from? ( such as 240 single phase) and what are your power measurements comeing out of the american rotary comverter when you measure Leg to Leg for T1-T2= T1-T3= T2-T3= ? This is a test that the PhC company puts in their installation instructions to check for after start up. I'm looking to compare with my phase converter output. Thank you.
I'm running off of Single phase 220V, my RPC panel is for a 20 hp 3phase motor but i ended up going with a 15hp because my power needs are a bit smaller. Plus it's the only 3phase used motor i could find locally at the time of install. I have unhooked some of my capacitors to lower voltage to the 15 hp to avoid over voltage on startup to the 15hp. T1,T2,T3 i'm getting spikes or Uneven harmonics so i need to add an isolation transformer inline to my machine. Best to contact tech support from the rpc company you purchased from, thats what i'm currently doing.
@@CNC860 I advise you to get the complete kit with their motor which is designed by Baldor to be a phase converter motor. The CNC is needing a balanced power so dont try to cheap out on the Phase Converter equipment. Check your input and 3 phase power output at all legs like their documentation recomends. I have their PL30 RPC setup and I am running off 240 single phase power which when going thru the coverter is giveing me unbalanced and to high of a power of 255 volts on one of the legs. Yours and my machine is speced to run on 208 volt 3 phase power you may find in industrial areas. The drives on our machines usually require nothing higher than 235 volt so check your output voltage and contact your CNC tech support with your issue first(not the PC company.
How much oil goes into the pump ?
The new compressor did not come with the pag oil in the pump. I added 9 oz. of pag oil.
