Thank you! I also like Starbucks vanilla sweet cream and your suggestions sound realistic to what I'd enjoy. Headed there soon and will try some of your recommendations!
Yummm! I still dream of the Kristoff Kafe in Norway! Have so much fun!
Great overview of all . Thanks so much, plus you include the price, which is a help.
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!
Great tips! Thank you!
You’re welcome! Thank you for watching!
Don’t forget the American Girl Brunch! Loved this video!!
Yes! My daughter isn’t much into American Girl dolls but that brunch sounds amazing!
Thank you for this video I was interested in renting a RV now I’m not interested
You’re welcome! It’s definitely not cheap. Happy travels!
Thanks, that was helpful!
You are so welcome!
Sounds like too much work
It was a lot of work but so worth it!
What a lovely condo!
It really is! The location could not have been any more perfect and it was just right for our family of five! And that pool, it was dreamy!
Have an overseas visitor so I appreciate your video - will follow your suggestions, thank you!
I hope you have a great time!
Beautiful job! Loved your video. But you pronounced Anglican and Chipotle wrong so you should fix that.
Oh my word! I sure did. I do know how to pronounce Chipotle so not sure why it came out that way 🤣 but I have never taken the time to realize that Anglican doesn’t actually haven’t word Angel in it! So funny! You learn something new every day! Thanks so much for watching and for your kind compliment. I’m glad you loved it 😊
SO glad I found this!!! While I was looking to purchase an RV and possibly renting, I will NOT be renting one and may even look at getting a Yukon xl with a camper potty in the trunk for emergencies!
That sounds like a great plan!
Perfect timing! Our daughter is going into 4th grade and our current park pass expires in August. Thanks for sharing!!
Great! Sounds perfect!
VOs Travel with KIDS, Subscribed because your videos are so much fun!
Thanks! I appreciate it!
This is too much. I thought it would be fun to rent a RV but good grief. It doesn't even sound like it's worth the hassel. Thanks for the information though.
You’re welcome!
What is a private insurance?
Just any insurance company you contract with on your own, outside of the rv rental company. Not using the insurance the rv rental company offers.
you think rv rentals would put solar panels' to help charge the battery's not the car battery
Good idea!
365nm uv works better than a 395.
Good to know!
Wow , thank you for all your hard work , it really helped us appreciate you
You are welcome! Thanks for watching!
USD $116/day was the rental price for a class B campervan we rented for our new zealand trip with price range between $0 and $50 for parking overnight at freedom and holiday parks campsites. It was still fairly expensive trip with the flight fare considered but we had fun.
Sounds like an amazing trip!
For anyone that's claustrophobic traveling in that small RV with five people is the stuff of nightmares.
Haha! True!
So basically lots of restaurants and a beach for the kids.
Yep 🤣 There are a couple putt putt courses but we didn’t do those. It’s a great place to chill and relax ❤️
Great video! What month did you guys go? We are thinking to visit mid June. Will the water be cold?
Thank you! We were there in July but the water was still cold, haha!
these prices are way over stated. I havent seen anything above $300 and that includes the luxurious "Tour Bus" style.
I stated that daily rental fees were $150-$300 depending on what style you choose.
Great info!
Thank you so much!
Thanks, we will check it out
Thank you for watching!!
Motorhome vacation: This is not a “money saving” option. It is a memory-making option.
Yes!
I had a 32 foot trailer when my kids were young and it was just not as much as it is now. I live in New England and spent the summers camping. It used to to be an economical way to travel with kids. I fly now I could not be bothered with any camping especially renting one. Give me a hotel and plane any day !! Best way to travel today
As long as you’re traveling ❤️
What taxes do you pay per day?
Thank you! My daughter and I enjoyed the video. Adding BA Sweetie and the park to our list
I hope you have a blast!
Thank you very helpful
Thank YOU for watching!
Companies that rent RVs in the USA: Cruise America, El Monte, IMMOVA. In Canada: FraserWay, RoadBear, Canadream, Four Seasons. IMMOVA has sites in Europe, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. There are also relocation and factory deliveries (their itinerary not yours) with prices that begin at $1/day. Sometimes they give subsidies for some or all of the gas. We have done this almost a dozen times. The last one was a Class C with FraserWay that we took from Vancouver to Halifax (20 days) at $19/day. That price included linens, kitchen kit, and insurance. The down side is that you'll probably have to fly to pick it up or fly to get home. My goal is to link two rentals together for one roundtrip. Also, you can boondock on a lot of federal and state land. Check out "Harvest Hosts," where you park at restaurants, vineyards, breweries, country markets for "free" with the expectation that you will patronize the establishment. We bought fresh bison, market good, beer, etc. (stuff we would buy and consume anyway) for around $20. Gas: She's spot on here. Try "Get Upside" for deals and rebates on gas. Gas in Canada is $$. So, there are many ways to skin the cat. Check it out for RV trips on the cheap!!
Sorry, forgot Cruise Canada.
Based on watching this video my guesstimate for a 3-month trip around the US in a rented Class C RV would be roughly $60,000. Given the estimated price for a trip like this it probably would make more sense to buy and resell the RV, perhaps even regardless of your net worth. Gas, lodging, insurance, charging costs and other potential hidden fees obviously would not be recoverable. When I do this trip I plan to keep everything right and legal, so I'd rather overestimate costs now to be sure. Food for thought. Good video, thanks.
Yes! We also considered buying one and reselling when done. Good luck!
If I remember, if you have at least 1 Little Girl when going to Cinderella’s Royal Table, there is a possibility that your Girl could be chosen by 1 of the Princesses when the Wishing Star Ceremony commences.
Good to know!
Great job! Thanks for all the info!! Big help!
Thank YOU so much for watching!
soooo.... not worth it.
But soooo much fun 😊
What a fantastic breakdown of costs ! Seriously, kudos for you for keeping track of all of these costs, while juggling 3 kids :D
Thank you so much!
What a great video, with all the info I was looking for.!!!😊
Great! Thanks for watching!
shows it best at 2:54 GO IRISH
Haha! YES! We took our kids to their first Irish football game last fall. So much fun! Being on campus is such a blast. Go Irish! ☘️ 🏈
How long did y’all stay at Aneekesta? How many hours
Hi! We waited in line to get up for about a half hour. The ride up took about 15-20 minutes. Then we were up there for about 3 1/2 hours. That included a sit down dinner though.
I have small children should we rent a car when we go?
Not sure! We drove there so we had access to our own car. There was quite a bit of driving outside of the city. But inside the city was pretty walkable.
That insurance tip was absolutely brilliant
Ok now that I watched the whole video…your information was priceless …I’m considering a month trip ….first timer ….thank you so very much
You are so sweet. Thank you! I hope you have the best time!
If planing a trip would Anakeesta use a full day or should we plan other things for the same day?
I’d plan other things. We probably waited in line to get up for a half hour and then spent 2 hours at Anakeesta. Have a blast!
Hello, what’s the name of the big bike that all the kids are driving with multiple riders?
At City Park? It’s a double Surrey. You can find the rentals here wheelfunrentals.com/la/new-orleans/city-park-new-orleans/rentals
Great info - for the launch where is that in relation to cocoa beach and Kennedy space center how far away is it from both
Playalinda Beach is a 40 minute drive from Kennedy Space Center because you haven drive out and around to get there. But it’s only 2-3 miles from the actual launch pads, so you’re super close! It is an hour drive from Cocoa Beach. Playalinda Beach is north of both!
Amazing video!
Thank you so much for watching!
Good info - I used to want to get an RV for vacations.... Then, a friend bought a used Class A (at about $80k) and I did the math - that would be well over a year of hotel nights. I guess if you were going to use one for 8-9 months of the year, it may be worth it, but for the typical 2-3 weeks' vacation per year, a hotel is WAY more economical. I think the rental may not be a bad option though. If you drove to someplace like Utah, that has several National Parks in the state, and then used the RV as the mobile base-camp, you could still use your car as a chase vehicle to use for the day outings, and your camp is all ready when you get done for the day..... (I also wanted to try renting a house boat for a couple of weeks....I think that would be a nice peaceful vacation.)
Great ideas! Oh wow, a house boat sounds dreamy!
AirBnb link doesn't seem to be working...
Hello, If i may ask what insurance company do you have?
It was Farmers Insurance!
Where did you stay? We are trying to figure out what area to stay in.
I really don’t remember, sorry! I know it was in the Hilton chain and a little bit outside of the city. That doesn’t help though, I’m sure 😊
Useful! The explanation was great. I had a great learning experience. Thanks for such a really useful resource. Keep sharing such amazing information.
Thank you so much for the wonderful encouragement! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
