So you can’t ride/drive your scooter onto the water shuttle but as long as the cruiser is able to stand & take several steps onto the shuttle even with just a little hand holding & their scooter is collapsible/folds in some way, then they are able to get onto the water shuttle with their scooter. They would ride over to the port on the water shuttle & then once over there they would have their mobility scooter loaded off of the shuttle & they would do the same & take steps off the shuttle & onto their scooter. It’s good to be able to take the scooter so they can use it without having to stand/walk for long distances in port. Now I will say having had loved ones with mobility scooters with us on past trips, if you’re going to do any excursions, make sure that it specifically indicates that it’s mobility friendly. Make sure to find out if the transportation to the activity destination offers transport of the scooter. We’ve run into issues with this at other ports in the past & had to cancel because they didn’t have the capacity to transport the scooter but we’ve also had situations where it wasn’t an issue. So just make sure that the excursion offers proper accommodations. I actually love when the excursions are non exclusive & anyone can attend or they offer versions of the excursion for ppl with mobility issues they just take the excursion a little slower for them. One thing I feel like is different is that one of the dinning rooms on the Venezia has a gondola which I had hoped Firenze also had. How did you like the Venezia style in comparison to the standard Carnival cruise ship?

It took about 45mins to get there, it goes by fast because they talk to you & tell you very informative info about Ensenada & answer any questions you have. The ride itself was a lot another 45mins & then we did wine tasting right there after the ATV & then they took us to downtown where there was shopping & tequila tasting. We shopped, looked around & still were on the ship hours before we needed to be. He area they took us to shop we could see the ship which made us even more comfortable just taking our time. I think you should be fine being able to do the excursion & still take advantage of shopping. Hope this helps. Have an amazing cruise! Happy Sailing

This was our first time doing the private Terrazza but we usually try to get an extended aft balcony because it makes a HUGE difference in the space. It’s worth it! Even if you decide not to do the Terrazza just when you’re booking your balcony scroll down & find the extended aft balcony & you’ll have that balcony space even without booking the private floor. I agree that the cruise is making a lot of money, but I from my understanding the cruise doesn’t own the parking & it’s another company that charges. I do feel like there should be some type of compromise & that the cruise companies somehow include our parking in our cruise fair fees, that would be nice. @@jakezilla9373 Thanks for watching my videos & commenting. Muster Drill is the safety briefing that every passenger sailing has to attend in order for the cruise ship to sail away from port. They go over safety protocols in the event of an emergency, kinda like how the airplane goes over safety in the event of emergency. It’s the same thing just for the cruise ship. They tell you how to put on your life vest, where you meet to get on an evacuation boat if need be. It’s to be prepared & know what to do in the unlikely situation. It used to be super long & dreadful but now it’s super quick & easy. I highly recommend getting on the ship & just going & getting it over with. That way you can just start your vacation & not worry about it any more. It’s a pain to go eat & drink & start enjoying yourself & to have to stop what you’re doing to go attend it. They also will announce you over the intercom that you are holding up the ship. Hope this helps! Happy Sailing

@@Drewski1303 Thank you for watching my videos & commenting. And no you don’t have to use cash in the casino. The card you put on file for all of your onboard charges can be used. You just go to the casino & at a machine you tell the machine or table how much you want to put on it & it charges that amount to the card. The cool thing about that is that you don’t get charged a cash/advance fee & they just charge it like a regular charge & you can also earn points off of using your card. If you do happen to need cash while on the ship & don’t want to be charged an atm fee or cash advance fee you can tell the machine you want whatever amount transferred to the machine & then just hit cash out, then go to the casino cashier & say you want to cash out. It’s a little hack we figured out when we’ve needed cash for off the ship but didn’t want to pay a bunch of atm or advance fees. Hope this helps. Happy Sailing

@@Drewski1303 omggg that’s sooo exciting!!! Which cruise ship? Have an amazing time. We love meeting new cruisers & love hearing how much they enjoyed it after their first cruise so please come back & let us know how you enjoyed your first cruise. Make sure to go onto the app the first day & look at each day to see what’s going on & heart it so you don’t forget & miss something you really want to do. You will see something called “love & marriage show” it’s not to be missed. It’s not just for married ppl or couples. It’s a show they do where they select ppl in the audience to participate & it’s pretty hilarious to watch. Most of the shows are also good. Always plan to have dinner well ahead so you have time to get to when the doors open because the seats fill up fast at the shows. The deck parties even if you don’t bring clothes for themed nights, still go. There’s plenty of ppl who don’t dress up. Silent disco is a lot of fun if your cruise ship offers it, but again go get in line ahead of time. Also don’t be shy to ask for things in the main dinning room, they like to accommodate as much as possible so even if you don’t see something ask also order more because some servings are very small & don’t be shy you won’t seem greedy at all. Sea day brunch is not to be missed, the best breakfast in the main dinning room vs the buffet at breakfast. We just got back from our cruise on the celebration a few days ago so will be uploading more videos soon so stay tuned. @@Drewski1303 Wayyy cool! We just went on that ship in end of June & are planning to go in December. We loved that ship. Definitely go to the silent night it’s pretty fun just go early cuz they run out of headphones. We enjoyed that a lot. Color my world was a nice show. There’s something called quest it’s definitely something you gotta be open minded to go to cuz it gets a little wild/crazy but it’s definitely very fun to participate in or at least observe. It’s an adults only scavenger hunt but it’s not like your typical scavenger hunt it gets risky in there lol 😂 Also really quick with the casino make sure if you’re playing the machines or tables that you use your sail & sign card because they track your play. About a month after your cruise you will get discount offers for select cruise dates that will be cheaper because you will be flagged as a player in the casino. Hope this helps. Happy Sailing

I’m not sure if they will switch it up but usually even on a 7 day cruise the first elegant night is held on the second night of the cruise & that’s when the toast takes place. The behind the scenes has a minimum age limit of 8yrs old & the cost is $130 per person. We almost didn’t book it because we really didn’t know what to expect & so we weren’t sure if the price was worth it. We are so happy that we ended up doing it because it was a very cool experience. We learned so much about what goes on behind the scenes & how the staff on the ship live day to day. To book it you can filter it & find it under Long Beach even though it’s not done in Long Beach it’s held on the last sea day of your cruise. It did seem when the ship was turning around to either park or get out of port there was some vibrations we noticed. But it wasn’t bad & it didn’t seem any more vibration than when we have been midship. We’ve felt more movement & heard more sounds being at the front of the ship than anywhere else. I’m telling you if you’ve never tried an aft balcony, I highly recommend taking your chances at least once it was amazing back there. Hope this helps. Happy Sailing

@heidij70 Thank You so much for the encouragement. I wanted to do a RUclips page for years but had to get over the initial fear. In addition I knew absolutely nothing about editing so I’ve had to learn & even now I’m still continuing to learn. My passion for travel & helping others ended up being stronger than my fear so I went for it. 12+ years ago When we started traveling & cruising for the first time, there was a lot we didn’t know & had questions we couldn’t find answers to & it sometimes made it hard navigating things we weren’t familiar with. So that’s why I do what I do to try & help. It also gives me a chance to be creative which is therapeutic for me so I enjoy it a lot. Thanks Again for the positive feedback.

Captains toast is @6:30 in atrium & pics with captain is @6:15 if you’re interested in that. Th atrium starts to fill up quick before it so I would plan to get there by 6:00 to get a place to stand or sit. Also if you want to do dinner right after, go ahead & check in to the MDR & if a table is available before the toast is over just rebook it. We waited til after the toast & there was a 90min wait so we ended up skipping the MDR & getting bonsai. Everyone I think had the same idea to go after. Had we thought about it we would have booked dinner ahead of time. Hope this helps. @@luvtotrade2009 Thank You for watching my videos & commenting. I agree with you 100%. Cabo is the best stop out of all the stops & would be nice if it was not cut so short. I know there was propulsion problems with the panorama that were causing the ships speed to be an issue with getting back to port on-time so they change the itinerary for Cabo for that reason but the Firenze doesn’t have that issue so I don’t know why they don’t go back to the old itinerary for that ship. You & many others have mentioned & complained about that & I agree.
