John Hiatt - Old Habits. Overdubbed solo on my Lap Steel.
Old Habits are hard to break. Decided to add my own Lap Steel solo, Home-made Lap Steel (half finished prototype)

Hi Leslie, thanks for your comment. I never knew the chords .. just sorta jammed along with it. They're not too hard, sound like lots of 7th's in there - I'll work them out and send you a message.

Love this song... one of my faves by John Hiatt ... nobody will play it .... rock guys say it's blues, but blues guys say "John Hiatt is not a blues player" ... so it vanished. Great licks! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. I'm pulling it apart soon for sanding and staining - might do a little video of it. It's nothing fancy but works well and has a good sound.

Yes, body from discarded timber, bridge and nut from scrap brass, frets from photoshop. I bought the pickup and machine heads.
