I doubt these VAs would still be for the job once there will be a Hyouka S2 (since the 7th volume is now being written by the author), and given the tragic incident in 2019. This might also be the reason why KyoAni will not animate the upcoming Shoushimin anime this July 2024.

And now, Hyouka has just turned 10yrs old. Dude, the time just literally flew by. It's sad that there are people in this video who're not with us anymore. The thought makes me appreciate this masterpiece of an anime much, much more.

Hyouka season 2 is fairly possible since any studio could just take up the job of animating it and the author is a slow writer, probably because he wants to make it perfect as possible
Many who were involved in Hyouka's production died to the fire. Even if they create a s2 it would look completely different with new staff.
@@Rikka_V1 Yeah, would not be the same nor polite to release a 2nd season without proper intention of those involved initially and know the ins‐and‐outs of the operation that brought Hyouka, the anime.
