I bought mine a week ago, less then two days the screen died, the backlight does'nt turn on anymore and there's nothing i can do about It. Never even found anything about that on reddit or else. Quinte annoying, i was super happy using It for those two days 🥲 and now it's taking me almost a week to have AliExpress do all the refund routine and stuff 💀

as long as it's normal, it's ok, but it did bug me out about mine until I googled it (and came across this video)- so thanks for making it and letting us know that it's on all units. I won't worry about it now.

the original gba sp did this too i guess on the miyoo mini plus it is the load so when the switch closes or opens it makes the speaker pop from the change in voltage im not sure either but i agree its annoying

Oh, and I also dump the firmware from the unit. I desolder the flash ROM, mostly TSOP48 in these units, and save the binary to my computer. I also erase and reprogram the flash ROM to increase the data retention time. If I get the same device with, let's say, bugged or corrupted firmware, I can reprogram it with the dumps I made from the working device and make the other unit functional again. Forget about contacting the manufacturer for the bin files-they will never provide them. That's why I dump the firmware from the device myself. It's an identical copy of what they programmed into the flash ROM during the digital PCB manufacturing process.

I’m guessing the impact doesn’t cause any problems to the circuit board or the mosfets ? I had no idea how to get them off but I kinda though a big pair of channel locks and just ease them back in to place with even pressure until they bottomed out ! But thanks this is very helpful when I didn’t want that clip to pop off and hit any electronic peace’s . Upon getting mine off a couple did jump off an hit looks ok now clean and put back in . Thanks for your video it was helpful . I did use the 442 Chanel locks with the stationary jaw outside the amp hooked on the heat sink . Then the moving jaw at a 45 degree at the top corner on the clip even pressure an snap you can see an fell them go in completely ! You can see how fast they go in with squeezing them in . I have a xl-400. What gauge of power wire should I be using for this? 6 gauge or 4 gauge? And also if I'm hooking up my speakers un bridged, it can hook up 4 speakers. Can I double up and hook up 8 speakers or is that hard on the amp or speakers? I know nothing about this stuff.

Thanks for the idea, 1st i was going drill the holes to mount the screws 2nd I thought to use thermal gule. 3rd I even purchase thermal gule n termal tape for my mosfets 4. I saw you videos and re using the same clips 🤣🤣😂, i though these clips are only 1 time use. Thanks for the video

looks like you also may have a small capacitor going bad as well . you can tell by the buldge in the top of the can .
