A month in NEW YORK as an international medical student on clinical rotations - Photo dump!
New York, NY - A city so nice you gotta say it twice!!
Apologies for the bad sound quality! :(
I visited NY last year for a whole month of clinical rotation (USCE) in cardiology. Rented an AirBnb apartment, figured out the subway routes, learned how to cook, met interesting people, and most important of all gained incredible insight into US medical practice! As international students, we are required to have a few months of USCE in order to apply for a US residency match.
In all honesty, I haven't yet figured out how to vlog xD and this is just a video and photo compilation. I hope you enjoy it!

How many programs did you apply to? Great content, btw!
Feeling so defeated:(i studied hard all week, stayed up until 4 am. Woke up at 7 and worked until 4. Created a practice test with. Did it. Checked my answers. Went back and analyzed what i did wrong. All for Step 1:(i think that i was just so tired by the end of it all that i just wanted to be done. I'm hopeful that i can bounce back but right now I just feel like crying 😢 😭💔💔🤕😓😔💔💔😓
I feel your frustration. The feeling of failing after putting in hours of work is heartbreaking. I go for step 1 2nd attempt next week. I'm scared as hell. But i will not let this test win. I know i am capable 😌 💯 🙂
Frustration is a very positive sign. It means that the solution to your problem is within range, but what you're currently doing isn't working, and you need to change your approach in order to achieve your goal.
The Usmle steps are very difficult and frustrating to pass, I've always believed usmle is not all about studying, you need God's grace to pass
People keep talking about Richard all over RUclips, he must be a very awesome help.
I studied for months and couldn't pass, i guess passing is a blessing.
Didi If i want a professional neurosurgon in america, when i apply..??
Lmao what's up with your username
There are several uworld pdf notes can you pls specify which one you used?
Can you please share the format for the medical school transcript? can't seem to find out.
Hi Divya, thanks for the video! I am a medical student at Gandhi medical college Hyderabad, India. My college unfortunately is not subscribed to VSLO Home Institution List. Also, my school does not have other affiliations with US schools. How can I find US schools/hospitals that accept IMGs for USCE? Most of them from what I saw require my college on VSLO list. I did not do USMLE Step 1 yet, I just finished my 4th year exams and would like finish Clinical Electives first. I have the US tourist visa already.
I have the same query. I’m losing my mind basically.
just passed Step1. now here i am😂😂😂
