I'm very sorry to say but the ground textures aren't provided by REX Real Global Airport Textures. Both airports are from LH Simulations with custom ground textures. But in future videos I'll show the textures. Right now I'm planning a DC-6 flight livestream from Fairbanks to Achorage - both with the default airports. There you should be able to see the REX textures.

@@airjuneau no problem. Also there are some good scenery add-ons that bring out a better Irish coastline. Great use of prerecorded cabin crew or is that freeware?

@@tgm250 Yeah, I used freeware addons for the airports. The scenery looks so bad because Bing maps has deactivated itself unnoticed and I only realized it when I was already in the air. The cabin crew voices are provided by PACX by tfdi design. A nice little program which enfolds it's full potential potential with bigger airliners. Have you flown this route in real life?

I think that was a problem of the early version of this addon. I think it is fixed by now. Never checked on this because I'm using the Logitech Autopilot panel.

I'm on autofocus. But I'm sorry to say I can't help you. I have the same problem with the camera lately. I don't know what happened it just wont focus anymore.

Sorry, I'm no computer expert. Here are the Aerofly FS 2 Flight Simulator System Requirements (Minimum): CPU: Info. CPU SPEED: Intel Dual core CPU 2.4 GHz. RAM: 4 GB. OS: 64bit Versions of Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10. VIDEO CARD: OpenGL 3.0 compatible 3D graphic card with at least 1 GB of RAM. PIXEL SHADER: 4.0. VERTEX SHADER: 4.0. So you might be able to run it?!

or maybe even high cuz of optimization because ets 2 is very good optimized and it runs on 30 fps on my pc in ultra graphics and with mods so maybe because aerofly is also optimized i can do the same??

@@airjuneau Im getting my instructor rating in Robinsons but the company I work for fly 407's and 429's. I started flight sim way back with MS flight sim 98 lol

I'm not aware of any missions for AF2. Maybe sometime in the future.

@@airjuneau Cool thanks for the reply. Thinking of picking Aerofly FS2 up and trying it out. Tried to wait for MSF2020 Helis but looks to be too far off for me lol.

@@Suhs1337 No problem. Helis are not coming until next year for MSFS. Although there is a freeware H135 already already out there but it has just a very basic flight model. Aerofly is a cool flight sim with a huge potential but development is very very slow and it's still missing many basic features like weather and ai traffic for example. Seems like the devs focus more on the mobile version. If you want to fly helis maybe have a look at dcs or xplane. Both a known for their good helicopter flight model.

@@airjuneau Totally agree. In the same boat as you it seems. The H135 is a cool for sure in MSF hope they figure out a way to improve the flight model if at all possible. I enjoy X-plane and DCS. I wish x-plane had the same frame rate and fluidity as Aerofly. Cant wait for the 2 new Helis in DCS too. Thanks for the great info.

@@Suhs1337 Yeah, I completely abandoned XPlane and P3D because of FPS and stuttering issues - no matter what I did. Maybe when I update my gpu (if they ever be affordable and in stock again ;) ) I will use them again. I'm pretty sure the MSFS H135 will be awesome. Ohne thing I love about MSFS is the great community and their mods. It might be even better than the XP mod/plugin (freeware) community which always has been a huge advantage for XPlane. Looking forward to the apache for DCS :)
