It really is, the soundtrack is great and I love the depth of many of the systems that really makes a difference to each playthrough.

Great Question :) It can definitely be worthwhile to have a few of your Warband more specialised in climbing as there is nothing quite so frustrating as taking lots of damage as you try to get to a mission objective or when you're trying to "tactically reposition in the opposite direction from the enemy" (some would call that running away). I've tried a few different approaches depending on which Warband I'm using using, once I've built out the strength (for the extra carry space for every three points) for this elf my Warband that I don't want to be in hand to hand or that are already "dodge tanks" I'll put more points into agility. For Humans that will tend to be young bloods, marksmen or smugglers, Vampires having more lightly armoured thralls or dregs, for Skaven Poison Wind Globadier (or really any of the Warband), for Witch Hunters a Witch Hunter or Zealot and Chaos just anyone without too much armour. I try to make sure at least a few (2-3) have a decent chance at climbing as for some missions you can find your Warband split up and if you need a key objective that you have to sneak around for having your only agile member of the warband somewhere else is a bit of a pain. That's great to hear, my main monitor is in a standard 1920 x 1080 configuration. I realise you're in the earliest stages of Early Access and I wish you every success! If the issue was the screen resolution having an easy to adjust manually scaling would allow us to deal with the issue and it seemed to detect perfectly on the menu screens. Let me know when you've had time to figure out the display (I know there are thousands of small jobs on the path to release) and I'll be happy to give it another go. I really would strongly recommend a one click to the help menu and reformatting the layout of the text in the help screens, only the most ardent players will read through all of this before playing and if you have a unique control scheme your tool tips become so important. Some great implementation you could look at for tool tips would be games like CK3 or Old World where you can either hold a key or gmhover over an item for contextual information which might help the game flow better. My final thought would be a loading screen showing what the game screen should look like so if there is an odd bug then the player at least knows. I really do wish you all the best and I look forward to seeing what you create it sounds like you're all passionate about it. 👍

There's an easy way to check if it's actually installed, if you go into the Multiplayer it should show in the DLCs if it's up to date. As you saw it looked like it wasn't working for me (I was using a Press Key which can be a bit weird) but when we got underway with the game it was definitely there with some of our players getting killed by their own family or deposed. If yoi find it doesn't seem to be working at all and you've tried verifying the files in Steam ping me a bit later and I can reach it to the Hood Horse Press and Mohawk QA for you to see if they have any suggestions. (It's 5.30am with me at the moment so it may be a not before they are back online.) I hope this helps a bit but ping me if I can help with anything else :)

We were going to go for a Star Wars run this time but there were some issues with one of the mods but we're planning on doing that next. All our community games are voted for by the community and everyone is welcome to join in the fun :)

The balance is you're also trying improve the desirability of the houses too and provide services to them so they upgrade to higher levels which generates more gold per housing level. How do you manage the other services which have an area of effect when you're building your city?

@@imaflankerukyou can use the gardens in between and the smaller range buildings outside of the circle most big buildings have a large enough AOE to cover everything in the markets circle without taking up space

Thanks for the great question and the answer is it depends on the mission a bit. For Collect Wyrdstone missions where your secondary objective is to collect x amount of Wyrdstone the I do my best to pick it up early before the fighting of its in one area but that comes with a risk that every time you pick some up you can get a debuff that may give you a disadvantage during the fight (reduced weapons skills, taking more damage etc). If you can't get to the Wyrdstone before the enemy then sometimes it's worth waiting for the fighting and let the enemy "deliver" it to you by picking it off their body. For the take the enemies "flag" missions my warband is too slow at the moment to get to theor cart, grab the flag and run away back to our cart to put it back right now so I focus on surviving as they are very weak right now. For the collect the enemies tokens missions where you need to down and collect the enemies token (they are called different things for each faction), you only get anything for picking up the tokens for the enemies that are "marked for death" so the other members of the enemy warband don't give you anything for their s and my warband are weak at the moment so can't carry much. With all bar the Wyrdstone collection there is another risk too which you may have seen in our last fight where we won automatically because the enemy had no leaders left, we actually couldn't pick up the mission item because the enemy warband ran away, so despite us getting the people killed we needed to the game doesn't let you pick up the items because the round is over immediately, which can be a little frustrating when you are so close to a win and that sweet, sweet extra xp. A bit of a long answer I know but I hope this helps a bit but let me know if you have more questions and I'll be happy to answer them - and thank you so much for watching. :)

I might be a little addicted, City of Gangsters is definitely a game where you find yourself doing "just one more turn" to finish the next thing. Part four came out today and was "only" three :)

Absolutely, we already regularly play community runs of Ready or Not every couple of weeks and it's a lot of fun with the ai improvements it's a really fun time, like you say pretty dark in parts though. You're always welcome to join us 🙂 If you haven't tried it yet Six Days in Fallujah is a much smaller scale, tight and challenging similar game too that we've played a fair bit, though it's not for everyone because of the setting.

I think that adding the Noble was a good idea as it stopped the constant kiting with bows that the original horde mode lent itself to, and the Noble being an idiot and rushing into danger makes it harder too. That said I think you're absolutely right it's a barrel of laughs with friends but maybe not as challenging as the main game modes. You're always welcome to join in the fun.

@@imaflankeruk yeah I agree with u there. At least now. When it first came out though I was annoyed cuz all of my kiting and just being awesome in general lol seemed to be useless now cuz they got rid of permadeath and added the noble so that if ur whole team doesn’t know how to kite then the noble would just wallop. A little while later I realized that I could actually kite the majority of the enemies on a team due to my experience I had previously and I began winning games again. Problem is that soloing it is interesting but it’s still too easy cuz the way they handled health and damage per player on your team, it’s mostly for out damaging the enemy in solo play now like if you had a tank dmg build or smth which kinda blows. Anyway sorry for the rant. I do like it a lot though. But if I wasn’t able to get first place in kills with zero deaths nearly every game then I’d probably hate it myself honestly. Plus none of my friends play it so it was always just about getting better xd.
