Hey only way I would do Jurassic jungle boat ride is if my nephews wanted to do it, you gotta understand that it and earthquake the ride in Gatlinburg, they’re vintage. As for over gatlinburge, personally not a huge fan of being closed in, and yes that goes for the chairlift too, but everyone has their preferences. The space needle is cool and I’d definitely consider it. As for Hollywood star cars, middle. I would consider it but I doubt it. We all have preferences.
Outdated information.... You need to update. Especially about Ober Mountain. Price is much different now.
Not enough cussing!! Boo!! Thumbs down! I need more filthy language
Thanks for doing this video. I am headed there for vacation and I wanted to make sure I don’t waist my money.
Are you two just a negative or touched? I'm also visiting from Key West and love this place. It's beautiful with endless activities for everyone. Especially young folk. And the people are incredibly friendly..so I don't know what you're talking about. But I'm a half full positive type of person. Get back to your barstool in key west.
Total BS. If it were real, it would be clear.
Dude no it’s real. Dragon man the owner of the shop has 175k square feet of still I believe. I know it’s 69k bigger than my parents fat house
@@AfterWorkRipper No, it is not actual German cyanide from WWII. If it were, it would be clear instead of red. It's all fake stuff that he says is original.
@@AfterWorkRipper No, it is not.
@@Theakker3Bdude do your own research it’s real
@@AfterWorkRipperyeah he has some pretty rare Nazi stuff
As much money as they have made and continue to make you’d think they’d be able to update everything I’ve been going there since I was born and I’ve just seen it decline more and more with each visit
To each his own I guess, personally I love Gatlinburg.
We love gatlinburg, we’re actually going back in the next week. These are just some things we don’t like.
Earthquake was perhaps the worst thing ever, but maybe that's the point. However, Ober was my favorite part of the trip. The view on top of the ski lift beats Clingmans Dome.
I’m 46. I went in the space needle when I was that kid in the videos age. It was okay then but the entire city is different now.
just so everyone knows the dad is racist and pushes his political views on people lol.
Great video. Background music is sometimes louder than your voice. Hard to hear what you are saying
So negative 😮 I love Earthquake ride 😅 I suggest everyone try all these things for themselves. If you don't live life looking for the bad, you will probably enjoy them! The Space-Needle is a beautiful view.
Keep in mind these are only one family’s opinions, which don’t mean shit
Verbage of “ me& Harper” shows you have no intelligence in language. Besides the language definitely was not necessary
Turn music 🎶 off when talking plz and back the camera up from your faces way to close... but interesting reviews of attraction
We just returned from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, don't waste you hard earned money on most of the tourist pit attractions. The Dolly Parton Dixie Stampede Dinner theatre was a good thing to visit, good entertainment and good food.
Just passed y'all on I75 in GA. THE black 18 wheeler that honked the horn at ya lol
Love it!!! Thank you for posting!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great and honest review Too much foul language especially with a toddler with you Your wife has a great narrative voice
That's so nice, thanks for sharing! My personal favorite accessory for my van is my HomeFi hotspot. I work remotely so I need to have internet in rural areas.
Love the price and your opinions however I do believe age plays a factor. You seem like a younger couple that has been spoiled by modern amenities. As an older couple, the wife and I would and have had a great time in some of these attractions
I encourage you to go to the space needle in gatlinburg and then go to anakeesta after. Come back to this comment and tell me which you all enjoyed more.
Most of these are our favorites, we must like cheesy. Probably why they are still around after all these years. Our girls have to go on the boat ride every year.
Most things you mentioned we have experienced. Not alot to do? What do you suggest
Maybe you need to stay home next time ..too many tourists anyway😂
I thought the same thing!
And then you act like jerks about it what comes around goes around
You guys are really disgusting about what you did about that parking and I know Dolly would be really ashamed of you guys. What would y’all do there and then yourself doing it thinking it’s funny that’s what’s wrong with people like you in this world.
Was just there and overall I loved it there but yeah there are certainly some major cash grabs there . Best Value : moonshine tastings . 100%….they are fun, semi long and very entertaining. For 10.00 u get about a 30-40 min experience and it equates out to around 3 total full shots . Rock top , Alpine and Goat are best value for mountain coasters hands down Hiking is free and incredible Biggest rip offs : By far it’s Anakeesta ……it’s about 40 a person and u get up there and outside of a couple walking areas and play zones everything costs money . U get nice views yes….the coasters up there sound like a decent value at 2 for 17.00 until u find out how insanely short they are and the one has a max capacity of 230 lbs . I’m 45 and 240 lol. Food is expensive up there and extremely limited in choice . The lights show is pretty neat but that’s extra (astral lumina) 17.00 a person and the real kicker is they didn’t check tickets when they opened gate so some family’s paid 80.00* while others got in free whether they cheated the system knowingly or not . Anakeesta is way overpriced and pretty overrated. Worst food choices , wort coasters and while it’s pretty it’s not worth 40 just to get there .
You don't have to eat up there. The chondola is unlimited all day. My wife and I never stay at anakeesta or skybridge all day, we come and go. It's just an extension of spending the entire day in Gatlinburg. For us riding the chairlifts is a major part of the experience, we go up and down dozens of times, no exaggerating, so if you assign a monetary value to the ride, say $20 per ride, the $36 ticket is a bargain. Yes there are better mountain coasters, so there is no need to spend money on these two. Yes the attraction is more geared to families with children, and as far as I'm concerned it's hard to beat for the money if you want something to do with your children all day. Lunch and dinner can easily be had in town. My wife and I absolutely love the fall decor and we'll be there sometime between the 15 and 21 of September.
Did your daughter say “bruh” in the elevator? 😂😂😂
I agree with everything you said. None of them are getting my money. I thought they looked stupid.
Who are these morons??? Judging from goofball's Jaguars hat, I'd say they're Floridian's, which speaks volumes 😂😂😂😂😂. It's as if they were picking the absolute worst and oldest places in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg to revue 🤔 Guess this was their first time there 😂😂 Two out of five are probably correct, but a 5 year-old could've given you this information. Ober Mountain, formerly Ober Gatlinburg has been recently renovated and I find it hard to believe that many attractions were closed??? 🤔 And the tram ride is a one or two time attraction, not one you'd choose to do everyday. The Space Needle, while maybe pricey to a Floridian, isn't really that expensive and is an iconic attraction in Gatlinburg. It's old because, we'll it is iconic and if you ever been on many iconic attractions, most are old, but we'll maintained. What else do you expect to do hundreds of feet in the air, besides have a gorgeous view of the mountains and downtown Gatlinburg??? F.Y.I you're not gonna get this view of Gatlinburg from Clingman's Dome 😂😂😂😂😂 And last but not least, why oh why would you visit the Hollywood Star Car Museum if you don't love cars??? 🤔 It's like visiting Florida when you hate the Ocean....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I don’t necessarily disagree with some of your assessments, but you got a big thumbs down. Not only was there an abundance of bad language, but it was in front of your kids. I won’t be subscribing or following.
Oh shit! Whoopsies.
@@jtkirkfan2002 I unsubscribed for the same reason. Pretty sad.
I watched on silent 👍
He was most excited passing gas in the elevator! 😂😂😂
Was interested in the content, which was good. But wasn’t impressed with the language. Doesn’t add anything to the video.

I think the most important thing is to respect your viewers. I thought your video was good but language in front of your kids not.

It was good meeting you guys in Corpus Christi. Love the videos subscribed!
Awesome! Thank you!
Ober Mountain was in a change of ownership and reconstruction of the whole mountain top family park. Just thought I'd let you know. It will be awesome and everything will be running smoothly.
Thanks for the info!
Speedwerkz exotic car I thought was very cool. I don’t think you realize how rare those cars are. It was definitely smaller than I thought it would be, but I thought it was worth the money if your a car person.
Hellooo from Gatlinburg
My son, Wife and I are all car people, and my son is very into KITT, and the Bat Mobile, and DeLorean from Back to the Future. We did the Star Cars museum in 2021. It was "SMALLISH". NOT a big attraction. Many of the cars were cool to check out. For the price, we paid I would give it like a 5.5 maybe a 6 out of 10. Worth doing ONCE IF YOU ARE CAR PEOPLE. If you are not very much into cars...it isn't worth the cost. I am here again in July 2024 for our second time, and I was thinking about doing the space Needle attraction, but after seeing this video, I am going to not bother with it. Also, we will pass on Ober Mountain as well
Hello from Gatlinburg
Bryce Canyon is beautiful! Mossy Cave was alittle higher up, but can be under whelming since is just a natural over hang with moss hanging
Hmmm...just got back from Gatlinburg and our experience with Ober mountain was the opposite. The wristband was one of the best spends of the trip...bummed we waited until the last day as we would've done multiple days. Mt coaster, ice bumper cars, roller bobsled, tube slide, ice skating, lift to the very top(which was awesome and they were building a new zipline they claimed would be the longest and highest on the eastern seaboard), chai swings, and other jumpy things and a carousel for the kids. The wildlife habitat eas great as well. Maybe some things weren't working when you went??? Don't know...but for our family...Ober was much better than Anakeesta. Everything up on Anakeesta was extra! Only the moutain bikes and ziplines were extra on Ober.
Hellooo from Gatlinburg!
Ober was wonderful. I agree! I'd go back.
Ober is a good deal when all of the rides are open and running. Ober has a website that's updated at least once daily that tells you what's open so no surprises after paying for wristbands.
Yeah I’m going to ober gatlinburg anytime I go to the area.
As a local, we should have a page or channel with green, yellow or red tags. Red, never. Green absolutely go. Yellow, you decide. Maybe you will, maybe you won't. Here's why... Ok, lemme add to your list. NEVER go to the 3 Bears attraction in PF, the one that wants you to come see live bears. Animal rights groups trying forever to shut them down. Going forward, no other attractions like that with bears can exist here but this s***hole was grandfathered in, sadly. Every time one of their bears dies, they go and take another bear from an unscrupulous trapper/seller. The bears lead a life of misery pacing all day on a concrete square, no place to hide, no stimulation, just a small pen open at the top where people pay to stand above and throw purchased grapes, bread at them. That's literally their sad lives in freezing weather and temps near 100 in summer. They have no teeth, no claws and it's a long life of depression. I wish nothing but failure to the owners of that cruel business. Jurassic ride is spot on. If you get bored, look at the TripAdvisor reviews. It will crack you up. Any "distillery" is just watered down flavored liquor from some supplier and they label it moonshine. Everyone local knows where to buy moonshine. Distilleries aren't it. Same goes for "dispensaries. " Just fronts for low quality CBD that has little to no benefit and an excuse to sell Delta 8, 9 and 10. It gets you wasted and is overpriced misery. Good luck coming down from that. It's awful. ANY Ripleys/Guiness attraction minus Old Macdonalds golf is a big ripoff. Antiquated, dated and often, just a bunch of reading. The haunted house will let you down. Nothing to fear inside, actors are bored and smell like Marlboro Reds. Alcatraz East is worth every penny. You will spend 2-3 hours inside if you like crime and you will learn a lot. Avoid if you have small children. They will be completely bored and you will be mad about it. Always look for coupons for everything. If going to Dollywood, find Patriot Park at traffic light #7. Pay a dollar to ride an air-conditioned trolley 3 minutes to the front gates. Don't give Dollywood $25 to park in their lot and wait in the sun for slow arriving trams. Avoid the time share hawkers at all costs. Tell them you are local if they bother you. NEVER come here in October. You will spend your entire vacation in traffic. Same applies to car show weekends in April and September. Also take note of other vehicle events like Jeep invasion in late August. Crazy driving and traffic, also slammedenough is a nightmare at end of September.
First time visiting Gatlinburg earlier this month and we paid the money to get up to the top of the space needle. That place is very dated and the elevator ride up was a bit scary. I did like the views from up there for sure. I was worried mostly about that building being soooo old, that it would come crashing down. Yikes. The other things in this video did seem Cheesy and not worth the money. We didn't do any of the other ones, thankfully haha. Definitely a very touristy area. Clingmans Dome was a beautiful spectacle! ❤
Hello from Gatlinburg! I do Vlogs Daily..Space Needle is cool
Ober was great!
His face while the space needle elevator was popping… 😂
Lol!
Why are men like that? Lol I farted. It was a scary fart. Lol
Ober Mountain sucks!!! Dingy, run down and pretty much everything was broken down. They gave us a partial refund because we made the mistake of riding the tram to the top. It’s not worth $30 per person just for the tram. I’d avoid this place at all cost.
Agree!
Hello from Gatlinburg..Ober is going to be much better soon
I agree with Hussey it's in the works of being a great experience. I'd go again. @@TheGatlinburgHussey
Wait some of the places you said not to go aren’t in another video where you say they are great? 🤷🏼♀️
Which ones? Each time we go we always have a different experience... but overall most of the attractions listed in this video just were not worth it for us.
Hello from Gatlinburg
Finally did the space needle after my 20 years of coming and it was neat. You CANNOT get those views on Clingmans dome. You have 1 out of 15 chances that it might not be foggy over Clingmans dome and it's not even in Gatlinburg. Both are great spots for DIFFERENT views.
Yes, space needle is great
We did it too and I would do it again. BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL at night. ❤
@@TheGatlinburgHussey hi there !
@@Cmela93 hi!! .😉
beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
Seems to me you missed Anakeesta. You pay a premium to ride to the top of the mountain then have to pay extra fees to do the zipline, and other attractions. Not worth the money. Plus I have been going to Gatlinb urg for over 40 years and the cost of Ripleys attractions and other have quadrupled in the last few years.
Anakeesta is by far one of the better attractions gatlinburg has to offer. There is endless activities at the top that don’t require extra money. Of course a entire tree course zip line is going to cost extra 😂
Anakeesta is horrible I agree. They charge way to much. Like how can she talk bad about the space needle for bad views but not anakeesta.
@@Cmela93 hi I’m going in a few days and have never been, am going with someone handicapped. I don’t know if you can even drive into NC now. So in Sevier County area what are the best places for easy places to go with great views? What are the most important things to do to really see the mountains?
