Thunderhill East - my proudest lap (2:08.84)
This lap isn't a PB or objectively fast. I'm proud of it because I was able to keep it together, despite it being about 25F hotter than my PB, and chase down Lionel's GT4RS. Now if only I could have made T14. :)

Not my best day. It was unusually hot and slippery, and omg the traffic. I think I was holding back because I didn't expect an unimpeded lap.

My friend Kurt let me take some laps in his 718 GT4. Unlike the GT3, I drove this one at 9/10ths, and it. was. awesome.

992 Carrera S at the PCA GGR HPDE at Sonoma Raceway on 2024-06-29 and 2024-06-30. This was my second weekend at Sonoma and my first anywhere with TW 240 tires. They made a huge difference, despite the mid-90F temperatures.
First time driving a GT3

My friend Jie let me drive his 991 GT3 around Sonoma. I kept it at 7/10ths because I didn’t want to wreck it. The GT3 turns in way more confidently than the C2S. It rewards momentum more because it doesn’t have the torque of the C2S. The brakes require much more force because they aren’t boost assisted.

Finally made it back to Sonoma with more experience and better equipment. I think this could have been a 1:52 if I hadn't been impeded coming out of T11. I'm still inconsistent, but at least I'm improving.

992 Carrera S at the PCA GGR HPDE at Buttonwillow Raceway Park on 2024-05-04. Overall, I was pretty happy with the weekend. I left some time on the track by using OEM brakes and street tires, but I'm cool with that.

I am so inconsistent at Thunderhill, and this video proves it. I was way ahead despite overdriving T3, T5, T10, and T14. Thanks to Kurt for giving me a kick the butt needed to go faster.

Nice driving, are you in a SUV? Or is it where you mounted your camera?
Thanks for the complement! It was my first time at Laguna and the tires were on their last legs, so I was definitely on the nervous side. It's just the camera placement. I'm driving a 992 Porsche 911 S. The Garmin Catalyst uses a permanent adhesive mount, so I hide it behind the rear view mirror. This gives a higher field of view than you would normally get from a video like this.
