Well done review!
Tragic
It’s funny this showed up on my feed…dealing with the same thing in NC. Power company recently cut a right of way through my parents front yard and part of other farmland to benefit one corporation. There was another route planned but scrapped because that would inconvenience the developer that has the county commissioners in his back pocket. Pretty much everything this man said resonates with me.
Crook's
Good luck and may God look after you. I can't say I know how you feel to be invaded by big money but our Government takes millions from them so they let them. As an ex West Virginian who lived there 62 yrs feel for you, its not right how Corrupt Politicians sell we the people out. A friend of mine was forced off his farm for the new Rt 35 to go through so they cheat a lot of Americans out of their hard work towards their livelyhood and dreams.
I hope it opens soon, would really help the US
What are your thoughts on soil in Walton West Virginia.
Sure, some pipe segments have been exposed to UV rays for extended periods of time. Engineer teams will account for this before anything is allowed to be buried. Misinformation and bullshit at its finest right here. 3/4 or better of the line is complete. They’ll finish it.
P r o m o S M 👏
Nan your NUTS. We've got lots of Pipelines here in West Virginia. I don't see or never heard of all the BS you are talking about. That Soil does not slip away and slip.
*It is very heartening, it is very encouraging to know that there are West Virginians who seek to reduce adverse climate change on behalf of its victims, both current victims and in particular, climate change's more numerous victims in the future* . Not all West Virginians support what was recently done in the name of West Virginia, the horrible Supreme Court decision limiting the EPA's capacity to restrict greenhouse gas emissions by power plants.
Cut the gas to your house then.
Thank you for all you do in trying to keep that behemoth out of West Virginia.
This is absolute lies. So why are you guys going after the pipelines but not the loggers who absolutely use zero erosion control devices. I did not once see any streams or rivers impacted in this video. Only stained water caused from hard rains that you’ll get from any major rain event. We got 3” of rain in WV last night and everywhere there was stained muddy water. Did it come from the pipeline’s???
What is "upland construction"?
Building on land that drains to waterways. It is called "upland" and typically under Army Corps of Engineering regulatory domain.
Well done. The footage from the air is so poignant and impactful. Thank you.
Just curious. Did you happen to live in Berkley Ca on Parker St. in 1969-1970's

In this day & age of Purely Dickensian & Archaic rollback of environmental policy & dismantling supposedly Ironclad National Monument lands out west for drilling & other extraction atrocities--I am curious what is the status of this National Monument intiative. Perhaps the present administration will be so distracted by Gold & Silver Assaults on the American West now is the prefect time to Federally (for what that's worth) Protect these vital headwaters.
There is definitely a great deal to be concerned with here because all of our politicians have been bought by PAC money. There are many of these environmental groups in WV that just can't see the light. They all need to unite under one name.
