I took the motor out of one of these and am trying to make a fan out of it. These motors seem to run fine at 6 volts, 9 volts is a bit high and I have a rubber blade on the motor. Moves a good amount of air. These motors are similar the the ones found in cassette players.

I have this exact same product. Currently having the problem whereby the 'squeezer' (the last piece of plastic which squeezes the spray unit) does not squeeze my air freshener enough so that it sprays like it used to. I tried putting layers of paper beneath the air freshener to help reduce the squeezer effort but it doesn't help. I'm wondering whether the motor inside is not strong enough. My screwdriver doesn't fit so Im getting a smaller screwdriver tomorrow to see what's the problem.
