I am not a chauvinist, as this man says he was at one time. I am simply a person who wants to be obedient to the Word. Scripture does not require theological gymnastics to be understood. This man takes a plainly stated portion of scripture (1Tim ch2) and then spends 52 minutes explaining that it doesn’t mean what it says. His argument is weak, and at times, a bit pseudo intellectual. For a simple commentary on this subject, search “Can women serve as pastors and elders in the church?”. See the John MacArthur commentary. It’ll take 5 minutes vs the 52 minutes for this video.
