P&O Iona Cruise to the Norwegian Fjords - June 2024 (part 4). Haugesund.
Our final stop and the best weather of the holiday. We visited the Dokken Museum and then took a long walk to the Rising Tide sculpture, before enjoying some of the local shops in town.

On the 3rd stop of the cruise, we took in the beautiful sights of Hellesylt and had a brilliant time on the Renault Twizy Tour which we thoroughly recommend.

Our 2nd stop of the holiday was at Olden. Up early to view the beautiful Fjords as we sailed in, followed by a trip up the Loen Skylift for some fabulous views.

Took a bus ride to Playa Blanca on the one cloudy day we had. Once again, had a brilliant time stopping at Club Oceano and hope to be back later in the year.

4 lovely nights in Krakow. Time spent mostly around the Kazimierz district with plenty of sightseeing & walking. We also went on a visit to Auschwitz which is recommended. Krakow is a great city to visit.

2 weeks in sunny Lanzarote. There was a heatwave while we were there and it was seriously the hottest we've ever known in visiting the Island. The resort was busy for the time of year, but we had a fantastic time as always.

Nice trip to Lanzarote, stopping at Club Oceano in Puerto del Carmen. Weather was a bit hit & miss this time, so plenty of walking, including a hike to the Airport to watch the planes land.

A few days in Krakow, mainly exploring the Jewish quarter (Kazimierz) & the WW2 Ghetto area. We took a walking tour using Walkative! - Pawel was an excellent guide & we thoroughly recommend using this company. The Pinball Museum is also well worth a visit.

Nice video...Club Oceano looks very nice....great to see Fariones finished now....didn't think much to the Food Box tbh, looked very dark and uninviting in places and the view isn't up to much....sooner go to Spoons with the view....look forward to your next video...

@154300 yes, all apartments face the pool. There are 3 apartments in the corner (lower level) that are a bit tucked away which we prefer not to stay in, but other than that we have no preference. There’s no air conditioning, so you might want to hire a fan from reception if it’s very warm. Enjoy your trip 😁

3HB Golden Beach - booked through Jet2 but I think TUI have it too.

It’s Charco de San Ginés, in Arrecife. Lovely bars & a really nice ice cream shop 😁

We always use Club Oceano apartments, so I’m not really in a place to recommend any hotels. There are sooo many to chose from 😂

My wife and love this island been there loads of love the people love every thing about this place it’s a shame don’t seem to want the British there very sad we will not be welcomed any more
I’m British & I always feel welcomed when in Lanzarote - that’s one of the things that makes us go back again & again. Maybe you were just unlucky?
Got nothing to do with being British . It's about not being reliant on UK tourist . They want to attract more tourist from other countries . Plus they don't want too turn it into a Benidorm cheap ale and dickheads 😂.

I was in this hotel a few years ago, I have fond memories, the lady from the room service always did the cleaning singing Enrice Iglesias songs - it was cool!
