      Unfortunately the dust extraction wasn't good enough for the amount I use it so I had to sell it on.

    Just a tip for using big circular saws. always cut in such a way that the motor side of the circular saw will sit on a heavy piece work piece, so when you reached at the end of the cut, the saw will ended up siting on the heavy piece, prevent blade jam or kick back.

    A painful watch. Let the off-cut fall as you cut so it doesn't bind.

    I came across you video as a link on my RUclips home page. I like the bird table. I subscribed because I like woodworking build videos. Plans would be nice but not necessary for me {71 years old}.If not plane at lease the measurements in the description. I would suggest if this is of your design and make some plans and sell on Etsy for a couple dollars US Money.

    Always cut off your overhang and let it drop. Usually an off cut. So double the blocks up next to each other. And cut letting it drop rather than see saw and pinch your blade. This will stop the kickback. Don’t middle cut between 2 props like that. Just avoid that and never be directly behind any circ saw anyway can see sights on blade cut or guide from side on with this tool and if still kicks because something goes wrong you have a safe position by habit. Happy work to you 🤙

    owned one for 2 years now. i just dont like the play in the angle selection. i do like the soft start though. the sawdust doesnt get collected well neither, even with a vac attatched. the sticker on the shoe (base) , yes its micro thin but i can cause a slight tilt if your proper fussy. ive been told the bed isnt always true flat neither you do get what you pay for but for making planters, its ideal. however my boss owns the massie makita one, and even that one goes out of whack for angle cutting. so hhhmmmmmm ]

    There is tension in the wood wich makes the wood bend to eachother also the way you position your wood makes it fold together so the blade will get stuck in between.

    • @round69
      @round69 6 месяцев назад

      I think tension in the wood becomes an isue when you cut along the direction of growth. Cross I have never experienced anything like that,.but maybe,. and 2. point,. i just saw it coming when he started,. 😬,. I hope he reads the comments,.

    Put the body of the saw on the longer section so the offcut falls away as it’s pinching the back of the blade the way you were doing it
