For modular storage, that's what I do with my dioramas. I get acrylic display boxes, you can get them at various price points and they stack :D If I remember I'll take pictures and send you them <3

Very cute! Things I have used to support clay while baking include: mounded up cornstarch, polyfill quilt batting, toilet tissue or kleenex, and even small glass nail-art beads in a shallow dish. Light bulbs (old fashioned ones, not LEDs) also make really good forms to cure on.

Never really thought of making terrain out of pre-baked clay sheets. Love this idea! Really enjoy your work, gonna check out more of your vids!

To avoid sanding dust (really bad to breath) you should wet sand. Dip your sanding block and clay in water - a drop of dishsoap will help keep the sanded grit out of the way. Dip often! I also use Abranet sand”paper” as it is on a mesh backand lasts a LONG time.

But omg, I did not know the gill pattern was considered part of trypophobia!! I generally don’t get that icky feeling except for when I see crab lungs and trypophobia explains it 🙈
