On 30 July 2024, BelExpo organised a webinar sharing insights on the Belgian gift shop in the Belgian pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka. A lot of interested companies followed the webinar and asked some insightful questions. Check out the full webinar here!

Happy news! In June the foundations of the Belgian Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka were completed! This is a major step in the construction work of our pavilion. The next step: the super structure! Stay tuned for the progress we make in July.

The construction of the Belgian Pavilion on Yumeshima Island started in the beginning of April. We are two months in! Look at the progress that was made by our amazing crew!

The Belgian Pavilion will be ready to open on 13 April 2025. The ground-breaking ceremony on 16 January 2024 marked the ceremonial start of the construction of the pavilion. The Belgian team had to wait a little longer after that to dig in (literally) and was able to actually start the work in April of 2024 after obtaining the necessary permits. BelExpo awarded the public tender for the design and construction of the Belgian Pavilion for Expo 2025 Osaka on 18 July 2023 during a press conference. The winning consortium consortium consists of the international companies: Carré 7, Beyond Limits, OneDesigns, Pirnay Engineering and Polytech Engineering with their partners.
