I'm guessing this is good news for older workers if you're in a position to be able to take less money. I'm 55 and dealing with ageism. I need to work 7 more years, but I can function just fine on 2/3rds of my salary.

It’s probably a lot of middle managers that push the whole return to office thing. If you think about it. Their roles for the most part is practically useless without having people physically around so they can prop up themselves and act like they are valuable for doing nothing. A lot of these “tech” layoffs are mostly non-technical employees!!!!
