Great job! Yeah my driver's reflect goes way up when the variable is turned down. I run it at 3 o'clock and it's fine but by the time I get to 12 o'clock it's pretty bad.

The new ALS500M I just got has a very neat and tidy assembly and soldering. The case screws not so much. I run it on a 75 amp power supply. I get abt 100 watts out with 5 watts in running digital modes. Amp has been flawless. In SSB modes I get easy 500 watt plus peaks with 30 watts in. I only dead key it at 5 watts in on AM for tuning . I may have lucked out.
