2001 Camaro SS quick engine bay update! (Overview/Upgrades)

Haven’t posted in awhile, wanted to give you guys an update on my 2001 SS. The engine bay part is done now, with added speed engineering longtubes, lid, a tune, and a few other maintenance updates/fixes. Showing you guys my almost completed interior and the staple, Braum racing seats! Very happy to have our first sponsor on the car. Also showing off the custom headliner by Travis over @ shipped shaped LLC! Custom carbon sunvisor deletes by Roland @torqueracingproduction ! Interior is pretty much complete. We will be moving to under hood/ suspension next thanks for keeping up!

Where did you get your seat brackets
nice, i'd ofliked to see more videos on how you did things. for instance you doing a video while you are tucking the engine wiring into the fenders, how to videos type stuff if you will. otherwise its looking pretty good. keep it up!

I don't know. As an original owner of a 1999 SS I feel that swapping out a console that is specifically made for the car with an ill-fitting "It's not perfect but I'm happy with it" console is not the best way to go IMHO. That modern look you're looking for went out the window when you chopped, cut and trimmed that fifth gen console into a wobbling mess. Sorry to be so blunt, but as long as you like it, then that's all that really matters.✌
4th gen interior is flimsy already didnt loseout on anything 😂

Yea fuck ss Jake I asked him a question for my build and bro acts to Hollywood. So does fyp_manalo. I’m doin a 5th gen interior swap on my 4th gen but can’t figure out how to get the 5th gen steering wheel to be compatible with the 4th gen? Do I have to make it custom or is there a piece?

Man that power steering reservoir made spark plug changes that much tougher.
@@sethster70 taking off one nut? Sorry just getting back to RUclips. Feel like taking off one nut to do spark plugs definitely is better than having a leaking power steering pump/ fitting putndown alternator. Just my thoughts

Nice upgrade 👍🏽 how is your power steering is it stiff? They sell a relocating power steering on Facebook, the factory ones sit right on top of the alternator and they tend to leak and eventually kill the alternator. you should look into that 👍🏽
