Feel free to practice your sight reading with body percussion, drums, maracas, recorders, or even singing on a neutral syllable! This video is in 4/4 time at 92 bpm (beats per minute) quarter note=1 beat quarter rest=one beat silence half note=two beats half rest=two beats of silence (looks like a hat) Paired eighth notes= 1 beat total (1/2 beat 1/2 beat=1beat)
