What battery do you use
I think you turned head 180 degrees
Ya oops, you are correct. Hard to edit now.
you mean you turned the head 180 deg, not 90... and so far you have not reviewed the motor, you've talked about yourself... LMAO.... WTF are you talking about... that is NOT a precision motor... you want one of their $1,200 dollar GPS automatic positioning jobs... it's your fault you want more then you paid for... LOL... you are too funny...
Interesting perspective and not something most people consider when reviewing these. Thank you!
Love Sinclair
I just bought 2011 FJ trail team! After watching this video! I love it even more!
I do think that minn Kota makes some tiller models with variable speed controls. A rheostat that allows much more precise speed control.
that's the one he has... the Endura MAX
I just picked up a 2011 Trails Team exactly like yours today. 70k miles. Thank you for your 100k review, it gives me confidence in my decision!
Sounds like my 200000 mile fj review.
Almost 200k, everything falls apart but it will make it to 300k for sure.
100k is nothing, not even broken in yet.
I also put on KO2's...did you put the stock size on your FJ or did you size up?
I kept stock size , they are adequate for anything that comes my way.
Great video thanks for your time. I think ill get one for my zodiac.
I have an 07 and i love the look of them one reason why i am attracted to them. I love the ride and the reliability of the FJ. I use to have an 05 four runner but I love the Fj so much better.
There’s a 2013 with 34 k miles wanting 40G. Gladstone Oregon Is this manual or auto?
All the trail team fj are auto transmission as far as I know, manual transmission is optional on a standard fj.
Love it there! Usually stay in #5.
Cool place I work there
Does it have 3 inch lift?
It came with PeePee and now you put on some PooPoo tires... "It came with the #1s and now I got on #2s"
Salt water rated?
I do not believe it is salt water rated, I think the white painted ones are but they are more money.
Hey man, do you think a 2007 FJ for $14,000 with 96k miles is a good deal?
Just remember anything prior to 2010 has less gas mileage and less power. I would look for at least a 2010 even if it has more miles.
Great Places and Wide Open Spaces : yeah I’ve definitely thought about that and I’ve looked, but as you know these cars are hard to find. I’m on a decently tight budget of 15k
fakeSwoxy I would say if you are willing to drive a distance you could find one, I drove 2 hours to get mine.
I bought a 2007 FJ with 78k for $17 Grand . I drove it from Anchorage Alaska to Reno Nevada and bk to Anchorage in the Winter time. No issue whatsoever! Ran like a champ ! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
If there is little to no rust on the frame and no fender bulges and runs great YES. Make sure you have a mechanic look it over, check the fluids and maintenance if possible. I bought my 07 with 82K on it for $19K If it is in good shape yes that is a good deal, but again look it over really well.
Over 200k here and going strong!
*If you did not already know this 40 lb thrust is the largest motor that you can fit through the mirage drive hole on a hobie outback.->**allmy.tips/Minn-Kota?35i** Punch the pin out, drill hole, 1/2 in rod 6 inches long, Anchors, i also cut the shaft down but you dont have to, and away you go.*
I just bought the exact same rig with 120k and I love it !
That is great !!! I hope you like it as much as I do. See you on or off the road, happy trails.
2010 with 115k miles. Simple to maintain the fluids with easy access. No issues, firm and solid on highway and even better with just enough flex off road. Totally stock except for BFG AT KO2 tires. Replaced disc brakes and pads. Found OEM Ceramic pads for very reasonable on amazon and they brakes feel better and more responsive. Next replacement would be the spark plugs. Easy access and I can do it myself.MAF sensor is also very easy to access and clean. It’s a keeper. We call it the family battle wagon.
I’ve done 90,000 miles on my 2014 FJ down under and taken it to some harsh conditions in the Australian outback. Runs like the first day I bought it. No issues. Superb machine. Will never sell. Never tire of driving it. Town or Country. To quote Charlton Heston.. “ From my cold dead hands “ ✊🏼
Exactly!!!!!
Great Places and Wide Open Spaces : I got 75,000 miles out of my first set of BF Goodrich AT , now onto second set KO2s. Great tires.
Exactly what I was surfing videos for. I was hoping this max was a slight slower speed than a normal one click on the non-max I believe it’s a little fast for cruising banks as well and the max is $70 more on the 55 thrust think I will stick with the C2 when I go to purchase.
I’m not sure about the vin number but, the trail teams all have a solid color, none were made with a white top. Also the trail teams also have a badge on the rear door and on passenger side dash. It includes upgraded shock and electric locked diff, and boom box and instruments on the dash.
Is there a way to read the VIN o what edition or packages it came with FJ cruiser? Nice rig by the way 👍
My 2004 4runner has 265k miles have only done regular maintenance items. Toyota makes very reliable vehicles. I am thinking about buying an fj cruiser.
2011 w/80k miles asking for $25,000 sounds like a fair deal?
Do u think a 2011 with 120k miles on it for $18k is worth buying or will it have tons of repairs that will be expensive
That is about the going price, I do think it is a good deal, my brother-in-law has a 4 runner which has the same engine and he had 300000 miles on it and still sold it for 5k. Great truck and you can fix anything that comes up. I would buy it.
Oh forgot to mention that with 300k miles he never had any engine work done just tune up and oil changes.
The air mattress I use is 48 x 80 and has a air pump built into it. The cord plugs right into the 120 volt outlet in the rear of the fj and inflates in 60 seconds. Perfect fit .
What kind of truck beds mattress do you have that fits in the back
eBay, search vw rally headlight grills, then look for the style you like.
The headlight cover were pitched off of eBay, I did a search on “Vw headlight grill vintage” the grill were on the vw beatles in the 60s, they are actually off-road rally cover. Sorry I do not have a website I bought them from, I bought them 3 years ago and I don’t remember the website. I will sometime in the future make a more complete video of the headlight grill and mounting.
Where can i get some haedlight covers like yours
He responded to ur comment below if u didnt see it. He didnt reply to u directly so I figured I'd let u know
Can you put a link on here for the headlight covers , i want one SOO BAD
My navigation is a garmin nuvi2699lmthd which is good for all of North America and it comes with the glass mount for you car. It is a couple of years old now and there probably is a newer model but this info should get you going in the right direction.
Subscribed as well 👍🤓👍
First and foremost, Great informational video. Second, is there a part number on both the Navigation Unit, and the Mount? Thanks 😎👍
Great video. I'm looking for one of these now. Just trying to find the lowest mileage one available.
TheBoogieBots808 I got mine with 30k miles on it and have almost 90k now, great truck, steel timing chain!!!!!!!!
Who needs the house? I would just live in the garage. The only thing that would make the garage better would be to load it up with FJ's. Otherwise A+ set up.
Thank you for your comments, I plan on keeping it until the wheels fall off, 20 years or more, work isn't so bad when you get to drive this to and from work !!
From a fellow FJ owner, nice video. They didn't make enough green FJ's in my opinion. Great color. Take care of it. There probably won't be anything on the market like it again.
Is it possible to get mountains out?!
Beautiful view!
