I just did a build with a built th350 454 and np203 transfer case. Hows youre transmission holding up? Bunch of people on the squarebody forum said that transmission wont last hooked up to the 454.

Look on the ground up ahead you can see where they tried it the 1st time, with other marks too. Many believe thats Burt going to Neutral and then to 2nd in the T/As automatic. Supposedly some of the Birds PONTIAC donated were both 4-speeds and automatics, even tho all the interior scenes were of the autos. Many of the shots for the entire movie were done in that same straight stretch on Mundys Mill Road.

As a follow up to this procedure, it's a good idea to drain/refill the reservoir (just once, not the multiple times procedure) after driving it each day for a few days. The sitting time, engine/road vibrations and active clutch-use really helps bring all the dirt up to the reservoir for you to suck out and replace.
