Uke Can Jam Along
США
Добавлен 25 май 2020
Hello! Welcome to Uke Can Jam Along, a place where you can join the fun + jam along. I'll play ukulele - you bring any instrument you want (guitar, bass, piano, your voice!, kazoo, horn, hand claps and snaps! etc). Any instrument will do and ANYBODY can play along!
Each video begins by going over a song and chord chart. We'll check out the different parts of the song, and discuss the order in which to play them...then comes the fun part; we play the song together! If you end up really liking what you play, make a recording of you playing along (video/audio), and please send it in!
It's always more fun to play music with other people, but sometimes there aren't other people around to jam with. Here, you can work on your craft, while I hold down the rhythm. If you find you'd like additional help on your instrument, I am available for lessons- just email me!

Thank you🤙🏼
Awesome thank you
Thank you, Jim I’ve known for about 40 years and now I can play it on my Uke because of you. Thank you sir.
I think you did great job of that!
Thank you! More are coming soon :) any requests?
hmmm....golden brown? is the name of the band the stranglers?
Thank you for this brother
like the way you lay out the song in advance. nice job.
Great tune and you made it so easy to follow Thank you 🎶🎵🤙
Awesome! Love your rendition! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Stay tuned for more videos. Any requests?
@@UkeCanJamAlong New Speedway Boogie would be my request. I’m going to be working on that one myself pretty soon, but love getting inspiration from others. I also want to add a solo finger-style part to the Dreadful Wind and Rain.
beautiful! was fun playing with you
Thx for the tutorial, I was looking for one and couldn't find one that worked untill now
Fuck yeah bud!!! Semi proficient with a 6string, the uke is a nice instrument to play while cooking and such.. have always played by ear, and now I have some motivation to at least learn the chords on this lil stinker! (2004 lanikai curly koa concert)
Good stuff thank you very much and very easy to follow 🪕😁
Thanks for checking us out. More videos coming soon. Any requests?
Would love another waterboys one And a bang on the ear if possible Cheers 🪕😁
Great version Many thanks
Thanks but the Waterboys are Scottish.
Points for some of them being Irish? Thanks for checking out my channel. More videos coming soon, any requests?
Love this!
So cool. Great song but beginner here…can you tell me the strumming pattern more specifically…like down down up or whatever the version please and thanks
Hi Darlene! I definitely wasn’t very consistent with my strumming pattern...it’s not a bad idea to include one for future videos. You can really play with it and have some fun with the rhythm. An example of a good strumming g pattern would be down, down, up, up , down. I’d love to help break rhythms down for you, shoot me an email and I’ll get something together for you, maybe make a video out of it. :) take care and let me know what songs you’d like to jam along to
Real nice
Thanks! More are coming soon :) any requests?
Scottish band. Great vid
Thanks so much.so so helpful!
There Scottish mate
:) thanks for checking out the video... They’re fun to make.
great video!
Sounded great! More phish songs please!
Which one would you want to jam on next? There are so many good ones...we’ll definitely have to work up to a YEM... :)
I’m a total newbie!!! I found it hard ha ha what’s the strum pattern
🤙
Just what I was looking for. If like to talk to you about lessons.
Hello! Glad to hear you’re enjoying the videos. Email me @ ukecanjamalong@gmail.com and we’ll talk about lessons. Have a great night! Let me know if you have any song requests too!
Can you put up the strum pattern?
My fallback is always DDUDU *2 depending on the swing...like Franklin’s Prolly way off but it worksish enough in FOTM and FoD for me.
Feels soooo good like hot butter all over my body after I've been in the trees
Thats a huge carpet!
"This song has 6 chords to it", proceeds to play 5 chords
Good catch! It’s hard to wear all the hats in making these videos, some things, like basic counting, can fall through the cracks! Thanks for watching :)
@@UkeCanJamAlong Its all good! I dig the tutorials. Overall well put together with good stuff in there. where r u from?
Right on. It’s a fun way to help people work on playing music with somebody else. I generally play bass, but ukulele is just so fun. I’m in the Bay Area, in California. Where are you located? Do you play music?
@@UkeCanJamAlong I dig it, was just being a cunt for fun lol I'm in Jersey, self taught guitarist. Check my videos
"I highly recommend" = "I'm really high as I give this recommendation"
I often highly recommend things. As long as they are worth recommending, highly.
@@UkeCanJamAlong This is one of those things highly worth being high for
Thanks Mike! I did indeed play along, and even took a couple of “sort of solos”. I hadn’t heard RRE do it before so new to me but it’s a really good song.
That’s awesome! Keep at it and more solo ideas will come flowing. I love Railroad Earth, check out a version: ruclips.net/video/4emZs96HWjA/видео.html
Hi Mike. This is great. I've taken up the ukulele so will be learning this one!
That’s awesome! Let me know if you need any help along the way! Any song requests?
this is great Mike!
Thanks for checking it out and spreading the word! Got any song requests? :)
Yaaaa! Great tutorial and I feel like we’re hanging out!
Thanks! Hopefully when we can hang out, everybody can jam along! :)
This is great! Thanks for the jams!!
I’ll try to keep one a week coming. Next week’s will be awesome!
super cool, and jamtastic!
Thanks! If you have a song you wanna jam on, let me know :)
Right on Mike, this is great thank you. Follow this up with the mode to solo in.
Let’s open this up for discussion. We can all help each other learn. I’ll come up with something too!
