Discovering MTB cycling, motorcycle rides and kayaking, mainly, in beautiful Poland with Sebastian, ex privateer/semi-professional MTB marathon racer.
MTB. First time on Diablak Enduro Trail at Zawoja. Cannondale and Santa Cruz fleet.
Technical section for enduro rider, few demanding spots, otherwise mild.

Witam. Co to konkretnie za model cbf 600? Owiewki, zbiornik, siedzenie i tył podobne do cbf1000, zegary podobne do cbf600, ale też zmienione. Silnik cbf600. To cbf1000 z silnikiem i zegarami cbf600? Jak to było zrobione?
Hejka, to cbf600 z plastikami od cbf1000. Jestem mechanikiem i taką miałem fantazję 🙂Generalnie wszystko od cbf1000 oprócz zegarów, pasuje do cbf600 2009 wzwyż.

From the point of view of estetics, Neotec2 I have, seems to be more aggressive in apperance,e.g: chinbar in old is more square, here round. Otherwise, new great helmet on the market, as usual we can expect superior Shoei quality. Please note, Shoei has two types of helmet shapes, for Japanese market for more round head, and European long oval. How do I know? I measured both types, oval has benn too thight for my round head, got Neotec 2 for Japanese market then, such a HUGE diffrence.

If you ever wondered, yes, Dominator, Polish producer now have a certified range for legal Road Use. However, certified range, which comes with DB killer fitted, is around 30% more expensive, which is a fair price for some peace of mind 🙂

Yep it is, with slight mods.
How did you do it? I have EV brakes and I-spec II shifters and they don’t fit
Not sure what do you mean. Just intslled it as you would I spec EV shifter. The range of adjustability is 50% less than it should be, I had to use one spacer under IspecIi screw and it works.

Cześć, XT ma taką samą funkcjonalność, XTR lżejsze. Jak Cię stać bierz XTR wykonane z magnesium nie zwykłego aluminium jak XT no i według mnie ładniejsze :-)

Siemano , chcialem sie zapytac dlacego na opakowanie pisze RT-MT900 , a ty dodalesz opis XTR M9100, tylko z dobrosci sie pytam , bo chce sobie zakupic i jaka jest cena. Teraz mam 203-180mm tylni i saw normalny z CANYON 2016. Sry ja nie jestem z POlski, ale cosz tam napisze :D Pozdro
Hi, writing from my diffrent account. I have used as a description designation for XTR 2020 groupset. But yes, Shimano brakes from groupset XTR's M9100 are in deed designated as MT900
Hi, will it allow you to adjust the shifters horizontally? Do you need to remove anything attached from the XT shifters?
You have 80% of same adjust-ability as 12 speed ones, Vertically and Horizontally. You just need original fixing screw from 12 speed, or shortened 1mm-or so fixing screw from 11 speed one, or a spacer (11 speed screw is 1-2mm too long). As well you need fixing nut from 11 speed I-spec EV (or Ispec II) which perfectly fits in 12 speed brake lever.

I'M not an expert, but you should NOT touch the braking surface of the rotor, never ever. Install it with gloves, it's not a good start to contaminate the surface before even starting to use.

Jaspreet Sidhu sure! There are always solutions. But why not just make it a habit of not touching parts where you do not want to get oils or other stuff. Does not take more time, it is not harder to do... and not the end of the world!?
Well, there are available brake cleaners to deal with that marginal issue. Regarding Shimano, never, ever got any problems, either cleaning or not. On Sram had to use cleaner every week to keep it usable.
