Conan Exiles Summer Retreat - Secluded mountainside retreat
My entry for the Conan Exiles Summer Retreat Contest #HotConanSummer . (Unmodded entry)
This secluded mountain side summer retreat is located near the waterfall and its aqueduct. Build on the underside of a natural archway the retreat is hard to reach and even harder to build. At least 20 thralls have lost their lives building in such a dangerous location. Visitors to this cozy retreat can enjoy the stunning view, tell of tales and take a dip in the waterfall for refreshment. The location is safe from wandering animals and is easy to defend against marauders.

I enjoy building with intense detail sucking up framerate. But this was on an old pc.
I wish there was a way to build an edge of the world base in vanilla 😞

Thank you. It was actually fun to build. Altough I died a few times. Even god mode can't safe you from falling too far over the edge.

Hee Dennis! Ken je me nog, we schreven elkaar wel eens op Moddb, je werkte toen aan een film met de Cryengine. Heb toevallig paar maanden geleden nog eens gekeken maar kon niets meer vinden daarover. Is die film wel afgemaakt, of mislukte het project. Werk je nog toevallig aan iets in die richting? Ben zelf bezig geweest met Far Cry5 mappen, leuke game, fantastische editor, met wel 10.000 assets om te gebruiken, absurd gewoon hahaha. Alvast gelukkige Kerst en prettige Jaarwisseling gewenst! Hee Dennis!! Leuk weer eens wat werk van je te zien man, en zulk goed werk ook. Zie dat je nu meer over bent gestapt van modelen en modden naar video editing ? Snap t wel hoor, want met video en editing kun je ook echt te gekke werelden maken. Fantastisch toch, wanneer je zo je fantasie in beeld en geluid kunt weergeven! SPY-maps Leon Brinkmann Hoi Leon. Dank je wel. Het filmpje is in 1 dag opgenomen met ongeveer 30 modellen (scare actors) daarna heb ik het in relatief korte tijd in 2 maanden in elkaar gezet. De kostuums maken de mensen zelf. Ik ben dit jaar in de cosplay scene ingerold en ik vindt het prachtig om dit in beeld te brengen. Ik vindt modden en games maken nog steeds leuk alleen de laatste paar indy/mod teams waar ik heb meegeholpen hebben nooit het levenslicht gezien. Met het maken van filmpjes kan ik in relatief korte tijd zelf iets in elkaar zetten zonder dat een project doodbloed. Heb je al een ETA voor jouw Half Life episode ? Succes met de laatste eindjes. Dennis Schenkel Snap helemaal wat je bedoelt, het is zo frustrerend om aan een mod of game te werken enkel om dan na een tijd te horen dat het stopt omdat de rest er geen zin en of tijd meer in/voor heeft. Dat is voor mij altijd de hoofdreden geweest waarom ik solo werk. Is wel veel moeilijker maar weet dan ook zeker dat het gereleased wordt. Maar, mooie overstap naar films maken. Heb vroeger super 8 animatie filmpjes gemaakt, is ook leuk. Maar wat jij maakt is ook waanzinnig. Klasse joh! leon
ziet er fantastisch uit Dennis!!! het is wel duidelijk dat jij niet hebt stil gezeten wat betreft de Crysis engine en editor, je kan er nu blijkbaar echt alles mee maken wat je maar in gedachten hebt! Hoe is het trouwens afgelopen met die film waaraan je toen mee werkte, en waar je de achtergronden via green screen voor maakte, met de cryengine? Heerlijk weertje erbij gehad. Ik heb dit jaar met 1-tonner meegereden.Er waren 73 Duitse voertuigen om mee te rijden. Waarom kom je volgend jaar anders niet langs.
kicken hoor, al die oude voortuigen. Heb vroeger heel wat van die plastic bauwmodellen gemaakt. van Tamiya, zowat ieder voertuig in je filmpje heb ik wel gemaakt. Ken daarom ook onbewust nog steeds veel onderdelen van ze. Maar in het echt ze te zien langsrijden is natuurlijk nog veel fraaier. Lekker weerjte ook, lol. Mooie dag gehad denk ik. groetjes, Leon

Thanks about the detail. But as said before the story according the rules of the "10 Year Old Brother Challenge.". From the rules of the contest: " Design and create a game environment built around the theme suggested by Robert's ten-year-old brother: an underwater city that contains a "gigantic battle tower" where warriors would go to face challenges on each floor of the tower and be crowned supreme when they defeated the "boss" challenge at the top."
well the detail is pretty impressive, but i recommend you to read books or watch movies to get an idea of a story
The story was written by a 10-year old, hence the name of the challenge "10 Year Old Brother Challenge." I designed the environment and the battle tower according to the story.
