It’s my favourite Zelda game I’m so happy they finally added to the app all my childhood memories coming back while listening to the soundtrack.

This game will be released on Switch 2 only. Reason I say this? I've had my pre-order on Amazon since April, 2018 when Amazon was still giving a 20% discount on new games. After almost 7 years on pre-order, last week Amazon canceled it saying "none in stock." This must mean there will never be a Switch 1 stock.

Look if you want a real reason then know this first, Fates and Awakening have more positive reviews than engage, many veterans loves the older fire emblem games and dislike the new ones, since the release of The three houses the game was very seen as more positive since well.. sales were sold three times better than Engage and Engage sold a lot less, also in my opinion only i feel like most of the time whether sales went too low or the older ones were better like Awakening for example which was supposed to be a last major FE game it was at least good, I also have a feeling there are a divide between newer FE players vs old FE players, let's say the older ones dislike the newer ones like Engage for example, as for older ones the newer ones say that it's fine like Three Houses for example and also due to the fact that smash developer released Byleth the negative views on the fire emblem characters have gotten so much worse overtime and the dislike ratio is even much more worse. I'm not complaining. I'm just really disappointed with how the fire emblem is now awakening and fates. Like, are we rewinding to the past, not current, because all i see is negatively and no enthusiastic everyday like what happened? Before 4 years ago it was enthusiastic but now it's not enthusiastic so just because you don't like the newer mechanics of FE don't mean that all of us are negative and not enthusiastic, like since when did the less entertaining became so common? Even the Fire Emblem OST that i listen to is there are absolutely no comments like back in the good old days there was so many positively, like what's going on with fire emblem community?

IMO Nintendo wants Mario kart as the premier kart racing game and TBH Diddy kong racing is better. That's my hypothesis

Anybody attributing Donkey Kong rapping or Chunky having a disco costume to black people is the racist. Never in my life have I heard such nonsensical claims, and I doubt they hold any water nor bearing on a decision to release the game in any way whatsoever.

In a way or another DK64 must return on the Switch

1. The game has racist undertones (coming as a Black person myself I disagree with this) from the badly aged stereotypical demo rap video where Chunky Kong has an afro, to the watermelon life meters, each Kong has a special move which is a musical instrument that plays a jazz song, insinuating the Kongs are Black people, when they are supposed to be Nintendo monkeys, and Black people being referred to monkeys/apes is a sensitive no/no topic, so maybe Nintendo is appeasing the people who are complaining etc. 2. The game is ridiculously difficult when it comes to collecting bananas and banana coins, and the controls are annoying. 3. It had a poor reception when it came out. 4. Hardware/coding issues. 5. It was released on Wii U virtual console at one point. 6. Nintendo/Rare probably will do a proper remaster/remake of the game soon.

basically Diddy Kong Racing and Donkey Kong 64 the only games i hoped for… better to overpay for an EBay n64 at this point

This game is underrated. I hate how people hate on it constantly and not give it a chance these days.

It's not lol, 3H is the highest selling strategy game& FE in general is a long & successful series for Nintendo! It's only whiny American Smash fans who cry & moan about wanting a different character 💩

Rumble pak isn't a problem... ghost data for mario kart is a memory pak feature. DK64 doesn't use the memory pak in any way at all as all in game save data is saved to the rom cartridge via internal battery. If banjo kazooies stop n swop mechanic was going to utilized the memory pak then there would be memory pak usage for dk64 to transfer data... The true reason why its being held back is probably because of all of syncing issues due to higher game framerates and loss of lag. The game compensated for lag in the intro sequence and several of the minigames such as the one where you are suppose to shoot the golden banana and trying not to hit the kongs.

Now the 2 comming 😂

I don’t really mind this staggered release as it lets each game breathe.

I wish there was a official video for "Donkey Kong 64 coming to NSO" today, it would have been perfect since today IS the 25th anniversary of Donkey Kong 64.

Donkey Kong land was a really good game. I’m sure that if you’ve never played it before and you’re just now getting into it and may not be that spectacular to you, but back in the day, it was quite amazing. Now donkey Kong 64 I absolutely hated when it came out and still cannot stand it to this day. But Diddy Kong Racing is still a game that I often play today
