@@Spriteworx I wonder if there is a way to overcome that. I don't know exactly how the device works. But the diodes for pins 2 and 3 seem designed to override anything "L/R" and basically activate both at once. So if you were using a dpad instead of a joystick, you could simulate a fire button sort of...depending on the dpad. So there's nothing analog about it. It's just Carrier Detect and Rx lines only. probably the best that can be done. Still, I wonder what sort of voodoo can be done with the cassette. Probably nothing as simple as a peek/poke. In fact, if you left the UpRight,DownLeft mode, you would probably find two of the "diagonals" would cause a "fire button" to be read. I think what's really needed is a shift register which is something you can bring to the really smart electronic guys in the discord. Basically, a shift register would receive a set of bits in series. If we wanted to record up, down, left, right, B1, B2 (for example) each button press would result in a bit being set. So, for example UP + FIRE(1) might look like 10001000 or a DOWN + FIRE(2) might look like 01000100 and UP+RIGHT + B1 (jump diagonally) might look like 10011000. This would require some tiny IC coded to read the state of these switches and then encode that state (on change) into a shift register which then sends that register's contents over to the serial port. On the MC10 side, it would take more than a "peek" to read that, of course. So maybe more trouble than it's worth, but this is how Nintendo made its revolutionary controllers. Instead of having a wire for each button, they used shift registers and a serial type of connection. But since the MC10 doesn't have a real serial port, it would have to poll constantly like it does for the keyboard.

@@kissinuk awesome. I haven’t actually tried it with a multi load game, so I’m not sure if you need to connect the remote cable into the small port on the back in order to make that work or not. You could maybe reach out to Ricky at you make robots. There is also a you make robots RUclips channel video that shows the multi load process ruclips.net/video/YX-jaEqmxW4/видео.htmlsi=CR6Uv_NFPyTKufI4

That is probably one of the most thorough reviews of my products I’ve seen .. Jay went out of his way to prove its features.
