My brother played in this he was a tuba player

So happy I ran across this,! My son Ben Minton played the tympani. He is on the far stage right, talk young fella with long hair. This is where his heart lies in music, in percussion. Alas he turned 18 this year and graduated high school and is starting Community College this Fall so will only get the opportunity to play once a week practice with our Community Band and two concerts I believe. But better than nothing at all. Bless this program for recruiting him for two years of shear bliss. We, as a family, will never forget and will always be grateful to you. My heart is full of thanks. First for the men who died there. This day I am especially thankful for these young musician who had to travel far, work hard in a short time and put together a great concert. Copeland's "Hoedown" is not an easy piece . I am so proud of these young American musicians who have accomplished much in so little time. Sort of like the Americans who were there 6/6/44. America has much to be proud of - God save from internal dissention and let us learn to appreciate each other. Thanks kids and thanks Brent for posting this.
