@@Francesmurphy-h5c Thank you for subscribing, it's much appreciated. I have lots more videos coming out very soon that you will enjoy. Menwith Hill does have alot of golf balls, they have large satellite dishes inside and the golf balls protect them from the weather. There are hardly any people living there now like there was in the past. Apparently the site is mostly run remotely now as not as many people are needed on site anymore. There is massive complex underground the base with shops and even a bowling alley, most of the base is underground. There is a lady that protests against Menwith Hill even to this day at the site entrance and has been doing for many many years since the 80s. The protesters used to even sneak into the base. I would love to be able to explore there one day, it's an interesting place ☕👍

@007ExploreTV yes you are correct. It does have a massive underground complex. I used to date someone who was in the RAF who had been inside and told me the same. It sounds like that protester wasn't wrong as it has expanded enormously. Younger people won't realise this. I used to go to the Wellington inn at Darley where the American servicemen came for their meals out at the local pub. They tried to keep a low profile haha but it was impossible lol I went recently but no sign of any and I wondered why but you have explained why perfectly.

Thank you for your comment. People push coins into the tree following a custom that's thought to date back to the beginning of the 18th century. Apparently at that time people thought if they were sick and a coin was pushed into the trunk, they'd be cured as the illness would then be transferred to the tree. Now people push coins into trees and make a wish or to brink them luck ☕👍

Hi Anna, thank you for your comment. There are 3, many years running, classic soaps that people watch in the UK. Emmerdale, Coronation Street and EastEnders. Emmerdale is set in the Yorkshire Dales. The soaps always have epic Christmas specials with lots of drama going on and even air on TV Christmas day ☕👍
