We stopped in Port on an October, 2012 cruise and were stalked on our way to and from Longfellow's house by local UNDEAD!

This is the 1918 protected switchboard room on the South Fork of Fort McKinley next to the powerhouse. It was the primary Fire Control switchboard room on the post. The North Fork switchboard room near the inn was for commercial communications and it still has a commercial switchboard inside. It was also built in 1918. Both the North Fork and South Fork facilities were built to replace 1908 sewell construction switchboard buildings. Since the 1990s both of these structures have collapsed and been removed.
I was well pleased to stumble across this as I was sending Birthday Greetings to Con. I grew up in Sugar Hill, NH - right next to Franconia, where I first saw the Con Fullam Band play several times at Franconia College and the surrounding area. They were a top attraction and much appreciated. I am delighted to see this inspiring production and it's commitment to Community! Thanks you ALL and PLEASE keep up the good work! On a side note - the only album created by my band mates in a group from Berlin, NH known as "Penney" had our final mix recorded in Lewiston. Cheers!
do you have the original figures still? This was my favorite show all time!
Thanks for this, Lynwood was my first director in (I think) 1970. We did "Tree Grows in Brooklyn". I left for the AF and never came back. But, I remain in theatre and background extra in movies and TV, part time.
"Pew, you're smelly" "No I'm Stinky, Stinky Diver!" Ha, when I was younger I wanted to be like Stinky 😁🤙
I really really really really want to know where you can get one?
Where can you buy one????
Where can you get one???? I really really really need to know!
where is Malinda Liberty ??
Such a beautiful tribute to his brother. Shows just how strong you are to honor your brother while uou face your own challenges. Your mom and dad must be proud to raise two fine young men like you and your brother. God bless
Yes, that was a nice tribute. Maybe it can inspire some people to make some needed changes. I was raised in and around Lewiston, ME. I went to Lewiston High School, Class of 1970. In those days I loved Lewiston. It was a great city, founded on and by hard working principles and people and maintained well. That's not what I saw when I visited in late Spring of this year. I saw a dirty, run-down derelict of what I used to know. I know there are still a lot of good people there. I hope these good people take the reins once again and clean it up and rebuild it into something special. Seriously, I saw it as a mess. My heart ached and I was depressed when I left. I'm sorry to write this. I'm not just trying to be nasty. I hope next time I visit I will see some positive changes. It's always been Home. Home should always be a special place.
I don't know why but I read zelda on the logo..
Beautiful tribute. Great FIDDLES - and very nicely done.
this is amazing. i wonder what motivated the photographer.
I have that gi joe figure
This seems to be an earlier cut than what aired. a friend of mine is far more familiar with this than me, but this is a totally different intro, with far more primative (for the time) graphic elements. looking closer to an 80s production than that of the 1990s. i assume this is a workprint of sorts.
Edited with what i assume was a QUANTEL setup
Looking at it from the perspective of a 36 year old now it was kinda weird, that we got toys from a brutal movie, which was only for adults. Secretly watched the movie at night, when I was 8 years old, cause I wanted to see, what the toys was based on. First brutal movie I ever watched. 😅
t y so much for posting this

Portland was such a nice town!❤
Beautiful and sad.
Thank you for this - George is my great-uncle, and I never knew this video existed! It's really interesting to hear some family history!
❤️
This touched my heart! I will always love this town where I grew up !
The toys are obviously based off the third movie.
What a very idealized image of our city.

I’d buy that for a dollar!
