On My last trip to Japan, I talked the family into going to the Shizunami Surf Stadium. It was a fun place to go and every one got some waves. It was also my first time riding the Shinkansen Japans bullet train.

Do they switch the wave for your forehand to backhand? How does it work?
My first session was 10 rights only. Other times, it was 5 rights, 5 lefts. So it depends on what session you pick. 🤙

@Datboykeeks We got 2 surf sessions with our hotel stay for $150 a night. The rate for 1 hour surfing is $65 to $85 for expert level.
Those trucks would kill me with what i do with a longboard haha

Only swelltech rule the ground ,i have a cx and a c5 too ,cx is more stable in pumtrack and the c5 for bowl but it's most a skate than a surfskate ...i don't like the c7

Just be respectful, usually won't have problems unless you are looking for them alot of fun waves. Hookipa is pretty consistant.

What one do you like best?
I seem to ride the Carver a lot. It is fun and doesn't kick you off like the swellpro. I am looking to get a smoothstar. Hard to pick a favorite I just bring 2 different ones depending on what I will be riding🤙
Nice! I have a carver cx set up but looking at maybe a c7 or Yow or smooth star to many choices

On the flat ground you need the practice compression before turn and extension out it is tricky.

Probably the most spectacular sunset I ever witnessed was forty years ago up on the Kam III road above Keahou. It was borderline psychedelic and beyond beautiful.
