It was crazy (though admittingly a good strategy) to see how many Wii U ports were initially brought forward to the Switch. Which games were you disappointed with?

@@SvennyMcG Mario Odyssey and Breath of the Wild. Definitely didn't help that around the time I got a case of open world fatigue. Back in 2020 I got a WiiU and I weirdly prefer it over the switch. I modded the Wii mode to add Gamecube compatibility back into the Wii mode and it's perfect now. 3 consoles in 1 so I don't have to keep all 3 plugged into 1 TV.

Thanks for watching! This is definitely a fun, unique little console. I also have a Telstar Marksman - it didn't come with the gun but I recently acquired one separately - but I haven't yet tested it all. I'll have to give it a go sometime soon.

Sorry to hear 😞 If there isn't enough plastic inside it's difficult to latch on, or perhaps the piece you're using isn't hot enough. You can try going in on an angle too to get ahold of it

@@SvennyMcG It takes ages to load your 360 profile up which you have to do every single time instead of it being recognised straight away because you are already signed into the account on the Series X. Then you have to go to your internet settings and swap over to a different connection. It's only by chance that I even have the connection that supports it and I'm sure alot of people don't so they can't even use backwards compatibility. It does spoil the fun of the whole experience. Sometimes by the time you've got the game running the mood is gone because of all the messing about. I don't even think Microsoft is going to fix it either. It's been like it the whole time, they are definitely aware of it but in truth they probably don't even like people playing OG games because they want paying for and playing the new stuff. The crazy thing is the problem doesn't only effect physical discs. If you buy a 360 game on the XBOX store you have the same problems. It must be such an easy fix as well if they wanted to, it's completely unjustifiable. It's not only to play the games online either, it's so that you can save your progress and earn the trophies for the game.

Yes, you can 🎮 I often leave one plugged into the USB out on the dock so I can charge the controllers between play

Hello! To get both outputs I just utilized both the RF out as well as the composite output on the Sega Genesis console - all I then had to do was flip between the AV input and Channel 3 😊 Here's a video where I did something similar with the NES but connected to two separate CRTs at the same time 📺📺

I definitely should have paused others and taken that approach! 😅 Always seems to happen when I make time to play 🤷‍♂️😁

The First one I had was a black one.

Enjoy yours as well. My two favorite games were always Sonic the hedgehog 1 and Sonic the hedgehog 2.

The Sonic games are so good and play some well on the Genesis 🎮 I don't think I've seen a yellow and blue model, very cool!

All great questions! So many pro / cons to either system. In fairness, yes, you can get an Xbox One and still enjoy the same backwards compatibility as well as the subscription service Game Pass and you'd definitely save some money. There are very few games that are Xbox Series X only, the main difference is the load times. PS5 is compatible with most PS4 games so a decent library there. There are rumors of PS3 compatibility coming but it hasn't been confirmed officially nor do we know how many games etc. I also have a PS5 unboxing & setup video here: ruclips.net/video/WfALnJyqn8E/видео.html

When I bought this set I purchased an antenna attachment, not that I anticipated to pick anything up but simply out of nostalgia 😊 The picture and image aren't too bad here, the white noise static is definitely loud though 😅

I don't see why not 🤔 The primary concern would be having it brick during a system update but once the update downloads that's really only during install that's the worry. Registering the system disc drive (if necessary), downloading game updates etc I think you'd be okay if your plan allows it

I have around 18 CRTs with various inputs from JVCs to Sony Trinitron, DLP and rear projection, etc. There are definitely many ways to improve upon picture but this video was to assist those that may not be looking to mod. I didn't spend any money on this, it was free on the highway and I stopped and scooped it up as I appreciated its retro look 📺
