Aquí estuvo el can
I met John a couple times, down to earth coolest guy ever...
Still going strong in 2024 ❤
IM HERE IN 2024, 33yrs. Old, and I love this song
Here in 2024! This song blew my mind the first time I heard it, back when 'Nightmare on Elm Street 4' came out. And still is in my playlists. Awesome energy! 🤘🤘
I love this song😊
Same! Listen to their other stuff too, they have gold!!!
Road trip bought me here..
If you like this song, check out their other stuff from this album like Scenario.
EXACTLY! Amazing song!
I'm soon 44 and I'm cleaning up around the place making karate moves. 😅
This song just popped up in the middle of my usual music and i almost started crying. Ive been getting really close to my best friend and i felt like he was singing it. Never heard it before, maybe just a cover of it, i think. And there was this sculpture of a skeleton on one knee, proposing to another skeleton that was left next to the building where we work. Gives you butterflies!
I do laugh at the youngins that heard this from some movie.
Freddie 4
Yes! Dream warriors.
I met one of the band members on a flight from New York to LA in the very early 2000s. He told me he was in Dramarama, but the band name didn’t ring a bell for me. He then sang a bit of this song to me and I remembered it then (I’m from So Cal, so grew up on 106.7 KROQ). On the plane ride, he was writing music (music notes and everything). I wish I remember which band member it was, but I’m guessing it had to be John unless there was any other people in the band that wrote songs too? And I wish I got his autograph too! It’s all good, it was a great chat we had.
Rick, you little meatball. IYKYK 😉👌
*2024 Still rocking* 🤪
As a native New Jersey boy myself... The pills he was referring to was sebas and codeine if you are up in North Jersey.. or the Quaaludes that were so very popular a few years before this band came out. 😎
Who's here in 2024? God help us.
You can give anything but it doesn’t matter anymore if the person is bored of you or don’t want you at the end.
1991 I was 16 and saw this show in Vegas 🥰
This song makes me cry every time I hear it lol I first heard it when I was like 14 and I always was like I really hope whoever marries me gives me pills and hundred dollar bills😂 diamonds really don’t care about 😁
Listening to this album .... wooow love you guysss greetings from Perú 🖤🖤
This song, Emerald City and Scenario are great!
I love this tune!
Who,s here because of middle age ?
This song reminds you of that one relationship where nothing you did was good enough
I only heard this song in a nightmare On elm street. 4 And I love it.😮😮
I'm here May 2024, practicing nunchacku skills and karate from here til eternity 🤘

hope you all can make the nj show coming up
Love this song since I was a kid
1985/1986 was my senior year of high school in the Los Angeles suburbs and I used to listen to this song on radio station KROQ The Rock of the 80s. Dramarama is my favorite band of all time, and their Anything, Anything is still my favorite song of all time, though I feel for the pain John Easdale was going through when he wrote it. After hearing it on the radio a few times I hit up Tower Record for a copy of Cinéma Vérité on cassette. That was back when we actually had to buy physical copies of our music, kids. Years later I was working at as newspaper photographer and got sent on assignment to photograph Dramarama in concert at Six Flags Magic Mountain. I shot a lot of concerts at that venue over the years, and I can still hear Dramarama rocking in my memories louder than any other band I covered. Chuck Berry playing Johnny B. Goode live was a close second. Thank you, John, for turning your pain into something beautiful that we all could enjoy. I hope knowing the joy you gave to millions with this song in some way gave you comfort through a very difficult time in your life.
I did not expect to find a recent comment on here, thanks for sharing your anecdote, I really enjoyed it

Thanks for the memory...wishing you that "happily ever after" the fairy tales promise...
@@TheDramarama thank you! Nowadays shes like where are those 100 dollar bills now? As we still chuckle. She has them all and I'm perfectly fine with that. Peace
@@faqs9937 Cool
I love this song since it came out
One of the best love songs that I know.
I was 10 when this came out. I’d never dated a girl but I remember even then thinking, wow damn. Then I was so in love in high school and we were on and off for 2 years. I almost listened to this. If you don’t have this kind of passion you shouldn’t be allowed to write music.
I don't understand why they never made any songs similar to this. I tried listening to their other music and this feels like it's a different genre compared to their other songs. They would have been a much bigger band if so.
There must be something in the water in NJ
🤘
This song always reminds you of that one troubled relationship,we all ended up going through eventually
Sure, that “won“ bad relationship we all went through. LMAO
