I Luv Wight - Let the World Wash In (1970)

It's actually a Fairfield Parlour's song that the band record specially for the third Isle of Wight edition where they played. They renamed themselves "I Luv Wight" for the occasion but the single failed to the charts. Stepping into the hands, my eyes adjusting to the light I find no need of words and I notice that you fell the same Space between the sky is taken up with something else We feel ...

The Yardbirds - I Remember the Night (1967)
Просмотров 17 тыс.13 лет назад
Unrealized song of "Little Games" album with Jim McCarty on lead vocal Writen by: Anthony Pirollo I remember the night, I was holding you tight, And I'll never forget how you were. You had brocades of blue, And an umbrella too, And a beautiful long piece of fur. And as I held you close, And you'd propose a toast, With champagne; and I'd cry out "Yes sir!" And we took all our cares, Up the apple...

@@hssmrg honnestly my true humble opinion .i have centipede LP twice : it bored me ,so much skills to do such a crap music ,i did studied 13 years AT school of music ,not to play those S....
@@alaincelos476 I know what you mean. I saw Centipede at the time and can’t honestly say I liked it.
Come now, soft machine third was amazing. But i do agree blossom are absolutely top notch, vast genres, sounds and textures. Sure they aren't like gentle giant time signatures all over the shop but they came up with beautiful melodies nevertheless and had some very skilled musicians and lyricists (love bomb is amazing) always happy to see people enjoying the blossies
"Well I guess that if that's progress it's alright."
Bet these men are having a secret reunion in their homes
Estupenda,un grupo de segunda pero de primera!
I do really love art 's superfarytales lp...great lp as ST twô...mho.
Musique délirante ne peut conduire qu 'au chaos .
The success not ever meaning quality. Thats a proof
Are there More Smoke' Music please? ( I liked too much...).
I thought maybe they rounded up this crew at some pub late one night after closing time.....Jim sounds like like a pirate LOL

very cool, subarashi saburo-san.
La miglior versione del brano che era della band precedente gli Art !!!!!! Ma anche quella originale non mi dispiace affatto!!!!
oh man i wondered what happened with keiths voice but then i realised its jim singing lol
Cool pop jazz. Great tune! Underrated for sure. But so appreciated by people that discover this awesome band. I feel super lucky to be in the "know". BLOSSOM TOES!
i love this song my favorite family song next to second generation woman
Yeah took me by surprise. Really nice. Nice Jimi sounding guitar.
I never expected to hear anything "new" by them, I thought I'd heard them all. Thanks.
is this Giorgio singing?
donna hilton, jim mccarty.
acid version!! love it!
The Smoke are one of my favorite bands and a reminder of a better more peaceful time. People knew a lot in the 60s. They were onto something really special. England didn't have Altamont and all the bad stuff so in the UK and Europe it lasted awhile longer. Great music and an enviable time.
I know exactly what you mean. The USA was literally a 'battle ground' starting when JFK was assasinated right up to......to......wait...it was still going on in the 70s.......
Fantastic
The amazing Smoke......exercising their bubblegum, psychedelic chops.....
An afternoon with Jimmy Miller..
I like this crossover of mod meets flower power PS neat photo of Afghan dog plus group
The Smoke was a mod band.
I like it!
I love Peter Daltrey's singing!
shame this didn't make it we had a great time doing it as we did with all our stuff great days
good god how many unknown songs did you guys have under other names? i love all of your music. one of the bands i can name that should have been as big as the beatles.

What an amazing band you were!! I have had most of your music recorded in the past but I have been convinced it is too good, so right now I'm buying all of your records, I'm glad your are doing well Danny!! Cheers! Oscar
@@OZZY60S thank you for that lovely comment take care cheers Dan keep rockin
@@kaleidoscopesdannybrigman2061 I hope everything is good with you, Dan. I picked up a copy of the Brian Poole single the other day on which you and Ed played, after more than 30 years of searching for it. Can you tell me anything about the Freen Beans single? I can't find out anything about it!
It's cute!
Great Lyrics!
They are indeed very much like early Soft Machine much more song based - how they were not more successful is a mystery, Got to see them with Soft Machine at the Camden Arts Festival in the late sixties
Ever see the small faces?
Just bought the RSD release on this 7" after my hippie mate Brian turned me onto the band and makes me proud to live in Leicester!!! Finally lol
Much more blues-oriented than the earlier psychedelic stuff....
My Dad took the photograph of Pete Daltrey that appears on here at 1min 48 into the slideshow. His Iconic series of 1970 festival images including others of Fairfield Parlour can be seen at www.cameronlife.co.uk
Absolutely love this!!!
Lovely stuff.
great song. i think that the sex pistols ripped off the last guitar arrangement that is a single note muted several times in the intro of submission. great upload!
