We could never afford to buy those treats (chicken and ribs) if they were not on sale. So when items my family likes are on sale, we stock up. It is a little money up front but it saves us from buying full price or not buying at all. I look at the sales ad weekly and compare prices. I am already in town so why not!? Thank You For Watching! I've done a whole chicken in the crockpot before, but 4 hours on low is not enough time.
@@MelissaJordan-gw8hp I think slow cookers cook at different temps. I know my older cooks at higher temp Thank You for watching ❤️
Mine done on low for four hours is falling apart done! And mine is only a couple of years old.

This is a great meal for those that don’t have a lot! Very few ingredients so budget friendly. Lots of folks out there just trying to survive and feed their families. I’ve got 4 boys and my husband and I home cook everything. Thank you for the inspiration!

Where is the fresh fruit and vegetables?
I tried this recipe for dinner tonight and could not believe it. My wife had seconds and my pork chop hating son who I did not tell was eating pork chops until he was well into his first serving also went and had seconds. He also commented how good it was. We had it over rice with a vegetable on the side. I will be making this again. Thanks for sharing

She says 6 hours on Low. I think it needs a little spice or two, at least S & P and maybe a sprinkle of garlic powder. I'm a spicer upper.
