This happened on Steeles Ave W, started at Hilda Ave when police tried to box in a white CRV (I watched this just out of view of my dashcam). The CRV took off at high rate of speed with police in pursuit (have this part ON dashcam in my viz). Shortly after, the pursuit resulted in a large crash at Steeles and Bathurst.

Mazda Dealership - 5500 Finch Ave E (@ Markham Rd) Call came in about 12:30am - for reports of people seen fleeing the back of the dealership, and alarms sounding. Fire crews arrived to find forced entry, and three vehicles on fire in the service area. Double Dragon restaurant at Highway 2 & Scugog St. Owner said the fire started in the deep fryer. Trucks from multiple Clarington Emergency & Fire Services stations responded.

OCT/15/2024 WHITBY 401/THICKSON - TRUCK FIRE

Bowmanville Ave north of Waverley. Serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Oshawa Fire on scene with a fully involved townhouse fire Eddystone Path in the Harmony Road and Olive Avenue area. Call came in at 04:53am. Unknown injuries at this time.

Oshawa Pumper 22 responded to this vehicle fire on the Eastbound 401 offramp to Harmony Road just after 2am. No injuries were reported.

Uber driver stabbed. Transported to Sunnybrook hospital with serious injuries.

JUN/25/2024 OSHAWA, ON WORKING FIRE - BOND ST & CENTRE ST

Highway 401 Westbound express near Neilson Rd. Happened about 1045pm. Crash involved multiple vehicles, with several catching fire. A lengthy extrication(upwards of an hour) was need to free the driver of one of the transport trucks. He was transported to Sunnybrook Hospital with critical injuries. Express lanes were fully closed for several hours due to the incident.

Neilson Rd / Wickson Trail. Aprox 12:20am. Single vehicle lost control, hit a tree, rolled on to it’s side. Minor injuries. Northbound lanes of Neilson, north of Wickson. Police at scene appeared to have the driver in custody, and were performing DUI testing.

Two victims transported with serious injuries. Suspect also transported with stabbing injuries. Danforth Ave near Victoria Park (intersection of Thyra Ave).
