If I have block gable ends would you attach a hanger tie for ridge beams , how would I attach the over hangs , make the up and drill through the wall to fix to end rafters ??

You hold them up above the ridge for vents. Never understand that, you can vent the roof multiple ways nowadays. So when you sheet it you stop short also ? Seems like a bad idea to me, not much nailing for the ridge cap ? But I have never seen the entire process.

as a laser technician get a topcon or trimble you'll thank yourself in the long run. i consider those throw away lasers, almost always cant re-calibrate nor fix broken parts..

A minor point; trusses are prebuilt rafters - I had a long argument with an anal minded guy who thought they were two completely separate components. They're not, they serve the same purpose, it's just one is built in a factory the other is an art form.

Small cone, cap should be been, glued in that point . No matter what, corners, showed, raw roof. Even , opening the corner up, with cat paw, and chalking under with , silicone, was needed. And that job is hard as hell. Dangerous, takes balls. No thank you.
