This is the song Every Letter, which was written by The National (specifically the music was written by Aaron & Bryce Dessner and the lyrics by Matt Berninger & Carin Besser). For us, this song is one of the best songs The National have ever written. We adore the Cyrano Soundtrack and hear it as a sort of "lost National album" follow-up to the I Am Easy To Find album. We're hoping the band considers recording this soundtrack with Matt on vocals, Bryan on drums, and Scott on bass as it could be an incredible studio album ... at least for our ears.
