How to #2 - Gun sling eye bolt for Lanyard
This is really handy when out on the trail. Let your radio hang from your neck, instead of setting it down when repositioning your rig, moving rocks, etc.

How to #1 - RC crawler weighted wheels

Add weight to your wheels to increase the weight below the truck’s center of gravity. This also really helps mash the tires in to the rock surface for increased traction. After being indoors so long, the rain finally let up. We were able to take the crawlers out. Thanks to my brother for the help with the moving shot.

Interesting. Although wouldn't heavier wheels cause more stress on the drive train & steering components, particularly if the car has plastic steering knuckes & drive shafts?
If it is all plastik you maybe rip it into pieces but mostly if you are gentle with throttle it should handle it. My frind did the same but if he put in his 2 gear and give some rubber his tire explodes.
mine has plastic rings covering the foam. just toss those away and put the weights right up to the foam?

Sorry for the delay. Vented tires help conform to the rock better. Helps with traction
does the wheel with the little yellow paint mark on it go inside or outside? I would think inside hidden so you don't have to try & scrubb it off? I might of mounted all mine backwards lol Thank you
Sorry for the delay. The little paint Mark is easily scrubbed off. The rotation direction really depends on the wheel model.

There a good tire, depending on your specific terrain
Alot of people foolishly try this method with the cheap crap large 5 gram wheel weights. These smaller heavier 7g weights are absolutely required. They are almost 3 times heavier by volume than the others and should be 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch. Nice one!
These were a cheap, convenient purchase at Harbor Freight. Haha. They do work well! Thank you very much for the comment.

Welcome to the hobby. It's a cheap drill from Harbor Freight. I'm sure any low budget tool store near you has something similar, if you don't have a Harbor Freight near you. @@nextbestthingrc7446 okay just wondering since mine is the stock K10 and online it says it's 11.40" but I measured it at 12" so I'm confused on what body to get lol
Kai Stackhouse Haha. Your Ascender should have 3 different positions in which the frame can be screwed together. Should have a little 1, 2, and 3 dot stamp in the frame.
