Hi Angel. Was it easy to drive on snowy roads? Am deciding whether to drive or take public transport to takayama. Also, what's the name of your hotel at hakone?
Hellu! Imo, it's relatively easy to drive as long as there weren't much ice build up on the road itself. If it's winter season, we did definitely did experience some road closures on the way out and slippery roads from Takayama since there was a heavy snow storm the night before 😅. We stayed at Mizno Hotel. Hope this helps!
