I'm also very open about my transition. I allow people to ask me questions that most trans folks don't want to answer. That way I can teach others what is and isn't appropriate to ask.

I came out to my kids. I've gotten some resistance from my second oldest. But none from any of my other kids. (6 in total.) All but one call me Dad. It hurts. But I deal. I figure she will come around when she's ready. She's a lot like her father. Just needs time.

You're definitely not alone. I noticed I feel better since starting T. I have social anxiety, too. I also struggle to sleep. I found a playlist on Spotify that is helping. It's called Get Sleepy, if you're open to meditation and meditative things....I get misgendered every day. Customers, my folks, it's rough. I get it...I'm nearing 40 and I'm still figuring it out. 🙂

Wow... I'm blown away at how much of what you're saying resonates! I'm also on the Ace spectrum of things. I've always described sex as "just something to do." I don't feel like pan, les, bi, or anything really describes me either. Labels feel weird in general.
