Sorry SP but I don’t think you understand the concept of reacting. What you are doing is describing and explaining. We look at reactors because we want to see how they feel about a particular scene, dialog character etc. You are talking, explaining so much that the we are and you are missing the drama itself. All that discussion about the Korean language was completely unnecessary and took away from the miracle that is this autistic girl. You didn’t even have a reaction to the waltzing through the revolving door scene! That’s one of the most iconic scenes in the drama and it sets up their ml and fl relationship! Sorry couldn’t even finish your show. I’m out.

Ive been using a app called Patchim Its free with ads and has a lot of different practices Such as typing Hangul Flash training Verbs training Handwriting training Adverb training And so on Ive been using Duoling for over a year but with patchim I can focus on the areas i need to practice on Duo was great for learning Hangul but since then Ive been mostly stagnant in any real progress And while i don't know if the app will work for computer its been a great help especially since i don't have to worry about a streak and Ive finally learned what a patchim was. They give a prize at the end of each lesson you complete Its an ingredient for a Korean dish so when you collect enough you get the whole recipe. Its fun

This is the first kdrama I watched like a year ago. And I've not watched anyrhjng since. I might be unwell

The shouting in the toilet is for comic effect. Going into the ventilator shaft will be for drama but she never got anything out of it for herself. The strangest thing, though minor I suppose, was the first death falling down the slide. Why do that game at the top of a slide. Sang Woo probably doesn't trust anyone and thinks these games are ultimately an individual one, so he'd say it's him against the rest. He's faulty but at the same time more realistic than Ali who is quite idealised to me. Why would Ali place his life at risk by holding a stranger up by his hand in the first game, that makes zero sense to me.

To give you an idea, when this was released last year in Asia, they dropped 7 episodes in 1 DAY, for us to bingewatch. Many of us watch 7 episodes in one seating or in a week. In the next weeks, they dropped 2 episodes per week, so we watched ep 8 & 9 together, and 10 & 11 together and so forth. The spy romance movie for a week and the next week gangster movie 😂 So we treat the 2 eps like the movie of the week, since 2 eps together is about 90 mins long. Especially since the 2 eps connected plot wise. For us kdrama fans who know the casting news initially, we've been waiting for actor Zo In-sung (Bongseok's father) in his kdrama comeback since the start of the show (his last kdrama was 7 years ago, and he's the first to get cast on the show) and he only properly appears in ep 8 🥲. We also waited for other adult actors to shine, because these are such big and expensive names, and we don't think they stay only just as parents. Also marketing wise, it's best to start with the younger actors first, they get promoted first and the story also works if we start with them, the mystery in everything unfold slowly. So for us who follow the show in that format don't feel the same way as you do 😂. And although is not really linear, the execution of each story is so well thought out and detailed. I assure you to have more faith on how the story unfold as all will get connected.

I love that their backstories introduced the main & side characters which I really like. -Also in this episode where juwon was inside that car below the sea, they show the reason why he was claustrophobic(haesoo mentioned that his father was claustrophobic in her backstory when he worked in mine). -How Juwon was discovered by Min. -His Code name which is where he came from. - Also the reference of the hit & ran from the past and how he was hit&ran by Frank🤣. - His bad at direction which was shown also when he met Frank in the building asking for direction. - Bad at shooting(when he trained with Doosik) which makes sense since he's more in combat. I think this season more focus on Parents and the next season on their children.

I enjoyed really delving into the backstory of the parents, and didn’t get frustrated and want to just get back to the kids because the back story makes Bongseok and Huisoo’s stories that much richer and more meaningful. I think you were taking over a particularly important revelation in the dialogue between the supervisor lady and the director, where they revealed that Bongseok’s dad’s only failed mission was the same one Bongseok’s mom “failed”… He was called code name Eagle, and he had the vantage point to shoot and kill everyone who she had let go, but he had watched her use the flash bang instead of the smoke bomb on purpose and let them go, and he sided with her and didn’t shoot anyone escaping the building, even though it was his job. Maybe your viewing of that reveal was cut in editing? Not sure, seemed like you were talking shou other stuff while that was happening. Glad to be watching along with you though!

I actually liked the backstories episodes. They give so many reference & sense from the present .

The North Korean soldier at the end of ep 7, WAS NOT Bongseok's Dad. Different Actors and different Characters! We are entering the parents arc. Please reallyy pay attention to the details and dialogues to this episode and the next episodes, the details are PACKED and proved difficult to discern in the first watch, much much more than the previous episodes. Please don't keep talking over it, bcs you already miss some details. The other reactors missed a lot by talking over these episodes. Keep having faith on your unanswered questions, let the story flow and unfold by itself. What makes most of us love this series is the tight writing with hints planted here and there (even the newspaper titles that Director Min read). The suspense will get much higher and higher from now on. You'll be surprised that there are LOADS to cover. Remember in the present day, North Korea is coming due to the viral video.

He was not after the kids, he was only ordered to kill the parents. He asked about their kids, I believe, only out of curiosity and trying to understand how far would a parent go to protect their kids. It has something to do with his past. All the other questions you have, will be answered in all the coming episodes. And you would understand why they did things the way they did later. The writing of this drama is a bit different from the usual, it is definitely not straightforward. Take note in even the smallest details or events, they will come up again in later episodes. I enjoy your reaction though.

Thanks for your reaction and analysis. Bongseok's mom does have a superpower ability, you saw how she could hear drizzle far on the roof, and the camera is zooming on her ear. Bongseok's ability will surprise you later.

You're correct about Pi. He's saying it wrong. Hui-soo actually tells him that in like episode 4 that you aren't even saying it correctly.

Dude woke up from a whole coma to say I love you, that's soulmate magic right there 😂 Got hit by a massive truck trying to intentionally kill and he came out of it (assuming you've seen the next episode) with nothing but a sore hand and foot! Yeahh, wasn't super happy about how they handled Jihyuk's injuries and coma but whatever, he can't be half dead for the rest of the show so I got over it 😂 I'm no psychiatrist but Sumin has got to have some sort of narcissistic personality disorder, she just has to be the victim in every single situation and gets real crazy when people try to call her out for it, all while twisting it in her mind so she's the victim again and everyone is wrong or a bully.

Only halfway through but I just have to say, Jihyuk is absolutely one of my favourite male leads I've seen so far, one of the best things about him is that he empowers her, he wants her to be strong and to get stronger REGARDLESS of whether they end up together or not. He actually puts the phrase "I want what's best for you" into ACTION not just words (which can sometimes backfire but at least he genuinely tried lol), which is something I unfortunately don't get to see in a lot of movies/dramas.

I was ranting so bad when I first watched this episode, so many things were just SO frustrating! And man, I know Jiwon has been through a lot but it took her less than 5 seconds to let go of Jihyuk's hand and turn her back after EVERYTHING they've been through together. And her saying she doesn't think it's right for a a person to end a relationship one-sidedly once it's started?? GURL WHAT ARE YOU SAYING 😭 it's not like he had a kid with Yura he had to stay together for, I guess it has to be abusive for him breaking up to be valid to her? Which it actually was (Yura taking out girls Jihyuk was "close" to) though Jiwon doesn't know about it. Like I cannot wrap my head around that insane logic but I guess that's how she got stuck with Minhwan in the first place. Also I'm not really sure why she said his explanation that he ended the engagement in his previous life anyway just sounded like excuses, gonna assume something got lost in translation or I missed something because it doesn't make sense. And what the hell grandpa 😭 dude likes the crazy ones apparently. Seeing Jihyuk talking about the situation with his mom and Heeyeon's mom, ouch... That cliffhanger is wild! Edit: Clearly I hadn't ranted enough yet considering how long this comment is lol
