Hi, would you recommend these, or the tnec frames, for a beginner flat skater?
@@yobro3325 um.. depends on what wheel profile you like to skate 🤷🏾♂️ if you enjoy more bullet profile wheels, go for the tnec. But, if you prefer rounded or square/face wheels, go for the iqons. Hope that helps ✌🏽
Young Scott Rodriguez Paul Johnson Mary
Perez Carol Harris Larry Garcia Elizabeth
I just ordered my compass frame, can’t wait to put them on
@@demonnikto3365 enjoy 🖤
Nice video ..
@@libotwithyapakanzmark6556 cheers ✌🏽
I'm thinking about getting these skates. Can I ask you how the feel of durability is and with a different frame, wheels and liner wud it be an amazing skate? Hope to really hear from u!!
Nice review boss! Just curious did you put any shock absorbers in these bad boys? And if so how did you like it?
@Jacobbbutynski sup bro ✌🏽 yeah man, I always use shock absorbers. Im too old not to... With these, I just used the heel pads that come with intuition liners. That was enough
Which replacement liner would you think is best for these? My style is typically large air big gaps but looking into more grind/rail tricks as getting old haha
@Chris-jp3fw really depends on your feet and how your liners feel.. and, are you on the larger side or smaller side of the boot sizing 🤷🏾♂️ you can't go wrong with intuition but.. it really is personal preference
@@ShredCitySkatesKelvW cheers bro the intuition is definitely the one I've been thinking of to. Thanks bro
Didn't know this was here ❤
I'm confused about the intuition liner sizes from your description. How come a size 9 and 7 be the same..?? From your description: "FR UFR Edition, size 8.5-9 US (Basically same size as the 8US Them Intuition Liner or the Size 7-7.5US Premium Intuition"
@FabiusPyromanus so, different colabs.. meaning, the skate brand will get them custom made to fit their specific boot. This was just to show people the sizing, depending on what version of intuition liner they might have or might want to get ✌🏽 intuition "premium" are intuitions main liner, everything else are colabs with skate brands
Do you. Have the same size of your shoes
@@guardion2394 I wear 8us shoes
First honest review that calls out the clacky sounds that come from these skates 😂..
@dmgd509 I find any frame that you can just drop your wheels into easily, will generally be a little clacky
Really hoping for the FootFinder link
@@NoBuddyz footfinder link?
@@ShredCitySkatesKelvW 🤣🤣🤣 naked foot pics
What's the biggest wheel flat setup the frames can take?
Sup bro ✌🏽 good question 🤔 62mm would probably be pushing it.. I'm not 100% sure, but there is small wheel wells. Hit tnec up on insta or the fine people on the interwebs/fb
You mentioned that the original TNEC frame is in your top three for flat frames. What are the other two? Great review as well!
Sup bro, my top 3 flat frames... iqon ag60, balance 2, and tnec 🤘🏽 thanks for watching 👊🏼
@@ShredCitySkatesKelvW Thanks very much, haven't skated any of those yet!
@@Rollerbalder they're very different from each other, all have their strengths and weaknesses
No naked feet photos? Selfish! We're still getting topless though, right?
I honestly don't buy into TNEC as a good, beginner friendly skate. I've skated them now and they are soft inside to a point, but the liner is crap, the wheels are junk, and the boot look meh. Not only is it an insult to suggest that a beginner wouldn't understand or have the ability to learn about there skates but to put the price of this skate that of Aeons, Sways, Roces, and Razor is a joke. I would be very surprised if TNEC make another skate only then will I see if they mean business. TNEC The New Everything Company but nothing is new just borrowed, old and stolen designs
That's cool man, you don't have to like the skate 🤷🏾♂️ different strokes for different folks. Yes, a beginner can definitely learn about all the parts that make a skate, but it takes time. Can be pretty confusing learning about different frames, materials, boot sizing, all the liners, different wheels (shapes, hardness, sizes), bearings, hardware, soulplates, brands, etc.. if someone comes in just wanting blades but not knowing anything except they want to do tricks and not want to spend alot of money.. TNEC would be on the list next to roces m12 and sways. I personally think the TNEC's are a pretty decent skate. You don't need to reinvent the wheel. All skates/boots have copied from each other in some shape or form.. it's all about how they fit and what accessories you personally like on them 🤷🏾♂️ Look at shoes! Anyway, thanks for your input 👊🏼 stay rad
im glad i watched this. im about to order some balance frames cuz i wanna go flat im goin from the kizer fluid 4s
Glad i could be of service ✌
ppl actually call them cheater skates because they are abnormaly good, right out of the box! Best Skate for ppl with wide feet
Haha, facts. I'd put razor SL in the same category
@@ShredCitySkatesKelvW absolutly fun skate too
Another message. I got the AG 60C frames to go with my AG 10 skates. I love em more then any other frame. Sooooo hard to get the wheels in but once I got em in I'm blown away. 30% carbon fiber in these frames. Their lit.
Sick setup! It's definitely my fav frame atm 🔥 I love the design of the groove
Ps why wud u have such low expectations before u used em.?? Why wudnt most people be like those r fresh!!?? And then have very high expectations. Just wondering. They look like no other skate. To be truthful that is.
Not sure 🤷🏾♂️ probably cause there was no hype around it and it's just a reskined usd skate.. I don't have a good track record with usd skates, they generally don't fit my feet 😅 better to have low expectations, can't get to disappointment 😉
You are soooo right. I just got my new AG 10 with Iqon AG60 C frames. The pictures totally don't let u see just how amazing this skate looks or feels. In person their a work of art. Maybe their too nice!???? Do u ever feel their too nice to use?? Or their just too much meaning just to nice period...let me know ur feelings thanks bro. I'm a new subscriber.
Haha, I kind see where you're coming from.. they're meant to be grinded on, so I'm not too precious about it 🤷🏾♂️ just buy another pair 😉 but, it is sad when things wear down.. such is the nature of blading
Nice sweater 😉 🙏🏽
Haha, thanks 👊🏼 🔥🔥🔥
Is that a custom colour way bro?
Na man, was one of their old models
Hahah that Hollaback Girl segue was amazing. When you clipped all the thuds I thought "this is going to get turned into a song". Glad to see you didn't miss.
🤣 stoked you enjoyed it 🙏🏽
Thx for your in depth re-review. Love’’em !👍🏻
Thanks for watching 👊🏼
I am so confused… I am returning to online skating after 20 yrs and there is soooo much hate for Impala skates on Reddit and even some fb groups… I come here and the reviews are fantastic
Haha, yeah.. I guess it depends on your perspective on the skate/company... for "core" skaters, they're more than likely to hate on impala for the fact they're owned by a skateboard company.. cashing in on the trend 🤷🏾♂️ and, their quad skates aren't the best quality.. But for a casual normal person that just want to roll around, their rollerblades are more than fine and definitely do the trick ✌🏽 I could easily go into a deeper conversation on the pro and cons, other prospectives, bla bla bla.. but I the end, who cares. Skate what you want to skate and just have fun ✌🏽
@@ShredCitySkatesKelvW I’m actually using these in preparation for skiing .., and I actually just finished watching the skate to ski playlist and now I get it from the “core” perspective but I agree (having limited recent experience). I see why it’s fine for entry, casual level, even for some videos they were minimally used for urban places but yeah anything above that I don’t think these would hold. You should do a video on this, there are soooo many people of reddit asking the initial question I asked
This is the comment I was looking for lol Reddit is doggin them out and I do want something that will last. With the color combos + the price point, I am seriously considering it. However, with all the reviews I’ve seen, it’s usually about the “unboxing” and their first initial skate. I’d like to know if anyone regrets making them their primary mode of inline skating. Wish there was an inline skate shop near me to try em on lol Great video @ShredCitySkatesKelvW and great comment @speedyturtle1234
@alasiaactually4103 all g. They'll be all good for the casual skater but if you really start geeking out on blading.. you'll probably naturally upgrade to a better set up. More comfortable boot, better liner, more responsive frame, etc.. starting with anything is always a good start 😉
I wonder about whether these or Kizers would be a nicer ride. I feel like for 110's you'd have to know whether you like a shorter or longer frame. Kizers are shorter. But being able to do 90 might make them worth it? I wonder if they are faster than Kizer. They must be a rough being aluminum. Anyway cool skate. Nice choice with the blue
Thanks for watching bro! 3 wheel definitely feels different to ride on compared to 4. The 3 wheel glides over rough road terrain more easily. Our roads here are pretty rough. The wheels are also pretty soft, so it's fine with alu frames. You're not really doing big jumps or gaps 🤷🏾♂️ I personally like more of a traditional 4 wheel set up or even 5, that's because I also do a tiny bit of wizard skating. Alu frames are great for responsiveness, and when you're so high above the ground, you kind of need a frame that's rigid to handle the weight and force that's created from skating big wheels ✌🏽 I look at big wheel set ups as the long boarding of rollerblading. Even long boards have different set ups for different styles 😉 it's just figuring out what works best for your own style of skating
i never thought of dremeling the inside! ive been heating the pinky knuckle from outside the boot and massaging out the inside.
May take a couple of tries to get it right, but I think it's worth it ✌🏽
Glad you made it work with the right liner cause the new Standard is for everyone. Cheers bruv!
royale for sure
Really wanted to grab these, but just didn't want to wait lol. I think I'll pick them up next time. Thanks for the review.
You'll have to heat mold them, but it's worth it 👊🏼
@@ShredCitySkatesKelvW Hell yeah sounds good! Thanks for the lookout.
Lot people have lot pressure points not good 🙃🥲
Haha, yeah.. it's a snug fit.. that fine line fitting "perfect " and being "too big" 🤷🏾♂️

I'm always lowkey flirting with you.. like a creep. I'm not the best representation for a skateshop.. I'm just online and extremely small. But, it is an awesome idea! 🤔 let me see what I can come up with

wait i want the yuto goto 5th elements but i wanted to turn them into flats. im new to this so would these frames be good for that is what im understanding?
also would i be able to ride 60mm wheels
@@EL_UNIC0RNIO sup bro! yeah man, you should be fine. The roces stock frame is all good for flat set up unless it's the new new models.. they've only just updated their frames on their 2024 skates. You'll need to buy wheels, bearings, and bearing spacers
good afternoon! my foot is 255mm what would be the ideal size of the skate with the standard line on the 5th element
Nice 🤙 got some sweet air!!!
That's the way to enjoy the day. Sometimes by yourself therapeutic
this is exactly what i was looking for. thanks!
just got them, they're hard to use.. and hurt alot up to now..
Show me on the doll where they hurt you... no. Yeah, they fit some perfectly and don't fit others at all. They hurt my feet too 😞
Damn P-Rails... I've taken the hardest slams on them... scare the hell out of me lol
Definitely not as safe as a box 🤣
Which size did you go with?
I went with the small ✌🏽 I ride 150mm in other frames, so it made sense
Sorry.. 250mm
@@ShredCitySkatesKelvW Thanks. I ended up going with the same size. I actually ride around the same. 250mm for flat, shorter if I go anti rocker, though. I got mine in white. Can't wait to skate 'em.
The bails at the end are everything 😂. That is one frame I need to try with 55mm wheels.
Who doesn't love a good slam 🤣
Better sizes.
Love your detailed reviews. Thx ! 👍🏻 Your review mirrors a lot of other reviews where ppl change the frame, change the liner, they heatmold, put in additional insoles, and and and. There is pretty much nothing left of the original skate….
Thanks homie 🙏🏽 yeah.. but, most "seasoned" skaters are more than likely to customize their set up. Most won't skate things stock. Same goes for scooter, skateboards, even bike riders 🤷🏾♂️ hell, you can even say the same with musicians and their set ups... we all have personal preferences
@@ShredCitySkatesKelvW oh you‘re right. Haven’t thought about that yet !
I can't imagine buying a skate that you have to diy it to make it work. That's a poor company and just shitty construction. It's laughable and the company owner shud be boycotted till they actually performed a quality making of something. We buy things to be mint condition and 110% ready to go. What a joke .
To be fair.. I've always had to customize whatever skate I've gotten.. some more than others 🤷🏾♂️ it's pretty near impossible to make a plastic boot/skate that will fit every foot shape in the world. My feet are flat, no arches.. so there's skates/boots that don't fit my feet at all 🤷🏾♂️ there's others that have brought these boots, and they've fit them perfectly. I personally haven't found the "perfect" skate/boot for me right out of the box. There's so many intricacies to think about, the style of frames, wheel size, wheel profile, wheel hardness, size and shape of soulplate, type of cuff, and the height and stiffness of the cuff.. the shape of the boot, width, height, how does it corresponds and work with the cuff... lace hole, how wide apart and how high to go, then the over all look of the skate and textures.. what about hardware.. don't even get me started on liners 😅 I've got my skates dialed in now and they're real good 🤘🏽
Hello mate! For 263mm long and 120mm wide feet which size would you recommend? :)
I just ordered size US8 :) Hope they’ll be fine
@@HiltonFenWere they okay? I have 255 mm mondo and I don't know what size to buy
Nice editing, man! Such a coincidence, I'm in NZ currently and just few hours ago got my first pair of skates, also on trade me, and also roces hahahahahahaha
Thank bro 🙏🏽 haha, sick!! Were they the black and white ones? The loco colab edition?
@@ShredCitySkatesKelvW nah just vintage FCO, very used hahahaha btw do you have any tips on where to find a dirt cheap pair of M12 soulplates? I'll be interested in having some UFS frame fun later after I get some practice with it stock
Nevermind, boots cracked after 40 min of easy rolling
@@pedrohenriqueboscofi the boot was way too old 😅
Good to see they’ve arrived in NZ, they can’t be too far away from Aus now.
Great Vid Kelv! Super informative! Just curious, do you ride the AG60's full flat or with the 1mm rocker option, and why? :D
Thanks man 👊🏼 I ride flat. I use the 152mn frames, if I was the ride rocked I'd probably gor for the next size up, I think they're 165mm? Longer wheel wheel base for rocker, just a bit more stability. Kind of like the oysi frames 🤷🏾♂️
