I can agree overwatch WAS better, it's launch/peak is magnitudes more than this game and this game will probably never match it. Right now, though? OW is dogshite compared to MR, I'm having a blast and it definitely gives me some nostalgia.

Rivals is absolutely better than overwatch. Saying otherwise is just nostalgia goggles. It's not even a fair comparison because Rivals is basically standing on the shoulders of Overwatch. It entered the industry at a time when everything MOBAs and hero shooters do right has been standardized, and Rivals got to learn from their mistakes as well before even launching. Overwatch was amazing for it's time back when it came out. But pound for pound Rivals is far better.

OW1 was like Doom for FPS. It launched the hero shooter genre. OW2 is blatant disrespect to fans. Rivals is not close to OW1 but compared to the others at the moment, rivals is fun and fun is king.

I will always respect ow1. Ow2 is a souless cash grab. Its a worst ow1 and it disrespected its fan base so many times. So right now, rivals is king.

To Shroud: Sure Overwatch should be respected. But Overwatch 2 and the devs that work on it now shouldn't.
