I think two of the most stressful parts of wedding planning are the cost and making sure you stay on track with the timeline. Luckily for you all, I broke down both parts in this video. I walked you through what I paid for our wedding at the Hyatt Ziva/Zilara Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica back in 2017, as well as, gave you a sneak peek of the template I created and used to keep me on track with wedding planning. Breathless Riviera Cancun Resort Review: December 2020

We traveled to the beautiful Breathless resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico in December 2020. Here are our thoughts on the resort. What we liked, what we didn't like, etc. If I didn't answer your question in the video, drop a comment below and I'll do my best to help answer it!

This was a great video and you touched on a lot of things that I'm interested in. I went to Breathless at Riviera Maya and loved it. I'm doing a huge 40th birthday party where I'll be bringing out about 100 people and I wanted a different location, but the same level of finishes and decor in the room, and the same level of sexy party scene. How do you think Cabo compares to Riviera Maya for something like that?
Thank you for watching! I loveee Riviera Maya. The Cabo location definitely has more of a grown and sexy vibe. If you’re bring a big group, you’re absolutely down to have a great time. The resort is also within walking distance from downtown Cabo and they have some nightlife options once Breathless winds down for the evening. I don’t think you can go wrong here! Make sure to rent a yacht and see the arches!

It is a bit pricey but it was far from boring. They had activities during the day and nighttime events as well. It isn’t the type of place you should if you’re looking for a nonstop party. The cheaper resorts give that type of vibe.

Would u say this a real expensive trip? I heard theres a nightclub there was it hard to sleep and how was the nightclub?
i was in La Concha this past august 2022 i have a great time. This is one of the best hotel in the Condado area in San Juan. a bit expensive but for me thats ok cause of the great service you get.

I'm lost at this point.. Why do they promote it as all inclusive when its not. I was just getting ready to book a room here so thank you for your review.
Not hotel in the San Juan area offer you all inclusive. Go to a republic where us currency has a high value they will offer you that all inclusive deal.

Okay 40th birthday!!! Yes, this is a great hotel in a great location. You won’t be disappointed. I’ll be there again in October so I’ll warm the place up for you all. 😉
i was at this hotel a few weeks this August and also on April of 2022. this is my favorite hotel in the Condado Area in San Juan. I have a great time the staff very nice, ones they put that bracelet on your wrist you can walk throughout the hotel facilities.

Did you all do any tours or excursions outside of San Juan (El Yunique, other Beaches, Bacardi Rum factory)? We're wondering if we should get a rental car for that reason. Does the hotel do airport shuttle service?
We didn’t do any other excursions unfortunately. We spent a lot of time at the hotel, beach, and La Placita in the evening. I do plan on doing jet skis when we go back in October. I do not believe they do shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. We caught an Uber. It was quick and cheap.

How was the weather during your august?
It was perfect. There was one thunderstorm that passed through quickly.
How were the daytime/nighttime activites & entertainment at the resort? Was there a lot going on?
It was a decent amount of things happening during the day. They would play pool games and have a DJ come for the pool in the daytime. Not nearly as much stuff going on as the Breathless in Cancun. In the evening it was one evening show like a fire show or one night they had a musician and then a party. They had a neon party one night.

This brings back memories. I stayed there about 7 years ago prior to boarding a cruise. I enjoyed it. I don't usually drink Pina colada but I had the absolute creamiest best pina colada ever at the bar there.

I want to go August of this year, but I’m worried because it’s considered hurricane season and the hottest time of the year. The weather looks beautiful in your video! I don’t know if I should go 😭
It definitely is a gamble. My birthday always falls around the beginning of hurricane season and that’s when we usually travel. I say book it and get trip insurance so if the weather looks bad the week before you leave, you can cancel. Good luck!

I’m not sure love. It depends on whether you book through the resort directly or through a third party site. Definitely check the site for the most up to date info.
Great video, gorgeous hotel, beautiful beach but I hope the hotel La Concha tells its guests to be very careful with the currents at the beach right behind the hotel. Many tourists drown there a little too often. Please be careful. As far as I know other areas nearby are ok especially the Isla Verde beach behind Marbella and hotel San Juan (about 5-10 mins away by car).
Thank you and you’re so right. The current at that beach was crazy. I got wiped out and flipped over at one point and I wasn’t even that far in the water.

We were able to use a special rate when we went so the cost was much cheaper then normal.

The website said they have a hot tub ?
Yes! They have two! They’re above the main pool. I show just that pool around the 8:03 mark. But the hot tub is directly above it on both the right and left side of the pool.
they have two hot tub in the main swimming pool area. they have like 4 swimming pools around the resort

Thank you!! And the Cancun location. It’s definitely more fun and larger. The one in Cabo has a very sexy, classy vibe going on. So I’d def think about what type of vacation you’d want and then pick.

Hi my Leo sibling! (My birthday is July 30th). The weather for August was perfect. We only got a bad storm that rolled through one day. Every other day was scorching hot so be prepared for that lol.

Sadly, no. There are very few all inclusive resorts in Puerto Rico. You’ll see more all inclusives in Mexico and Jamaica. 😊

Oh you’re going to have a blast! And we went directly to Carabali Rainforest Parks website and booked through them. Didn’t have any issues. Their website also has a link to provide transportation to and from your hotel if you need that as well. We used that too. Enjoy!

Thanks for the walk through. We just booked the double bed suite city veiw. Only question is: did the room have a TV in the sitting area with the sofa bed? Or just in the bedroom with the 2 double beds?
Thanks for watching Mike! You all will love the property! I’m 85% sure there was a TV in the sitting area for the double room but I didn’t sleep in that room so I’m having a hard time recalling. The resort should be able to answer that question for you if you call. Have a great time and check in early if you can! The check in wait time can be very long if you go at the actual check in time.

If vaccinated do they require a Covid test on arrival?
From what I read online, Mexico still does not require a Covid test on arrival. You will have to take a test before you leave if you are returning to the US. Most resorts, like this one, offer it their guests for free.

so do you think I would need a rental (car) or no?
We didn’t. Everything we wanted to do (grocery store, liquor store, food options) was either a quick walk or quick/cheap cab ride away. But if you are interested in exploring different parts of the islands”, then yes. Also, most of the excursions like the ATVs and zip lining are at least a half hour - 45 minutes away from this area (the hotel) so I could see how having a car to do those things would be nice instead of coordinating a cab ride.

If you do get a car, be mindful of where you will be parking. At this hotel parking is not free. Currently it is 20 USD per day to park. They also have hourly and for valet pricing.
We went to PR a year a ago and we also wished there were more all inclusive resorts like in Mexico. We stayed at another hotel but the cost of everything adds up quickly

Well Puerto Rico is not one of those republic. they offer you that cause their currency. Puerto Rico cant not offer that kind of service in their resorts they will go out of business. if they offer people all inclusive in the resorts in Puerto Rico they will go out of business.
They don’t have all inclusive in PR because it’s a 🇺🇸 territory so it’s illegal to just pass out an unregulated amount of alcohol to everyone.

Thank you! I love the Breathless chain of resorts so absolutely! We did venture downtown and it was a lot of fun. The location to the downtown area and the marina was perfect. The resort is also located at one of the few swimmable beaches in Cabo. So overall, I highly recommend. The only downside is the price tag. 😅

I did a quick Google Maps search and I think it’s Lokos Koko Bar. It was right near the place with the bottle service which is close by. It was also on a corner so you can identify it that way too. Have a blast!
