The Russians make 45rnd 101 mags black early ones were plum I don't know why PSA cant make a 45rnd mag they already make the 30rnd and the Gen ll mags are excellent hadn't had any issues yet but until someone decides to make them these and the Norinco 40rnd OEM ones are the way right now.

You could cut a coil or two on the spring that maybe the problem ? To much tension on the spring is what I guess people in the comp shooting back in the day would do this to 40rnd power springs for AR15s in the 1990s. Also maybe load to capacity let them sit a few weeks that may reduce the tension a bit not much but enough to allow function?

I picked up an AsIaN cOnTrAcT kit a few months ago and I've been slowly working on it myself, it's my first venture into the AK world and it's been a ton of fun. It's great to see a milled kit up close like this, I've been looking at different ones myself with an eye towards maybe picking one up.
